Central Petojo — Restaurant in Jakarta

I visit one-day after Chinese new year day 2023. So a little bit crowd. But because booked already, the space is ok. suggest for the restaurant can add music Chinese instrument for good ambience. The food is good, the staff are helpful. Can change the menu size portion & items onsite even when we're already reserved n pay before. My fav menu is gurame fish tausi, small portion can eat by 4 people, the price is friendly. They have lindung fumak is the best, crispy fried with fumak vegetable. Asparagus soup with crab is the best but the price is high. I suggest u order Large portion than small, the price is not far different. Another menu I tried was salty chicken with garlic, Peking duck, mayonnaise fried shrimp also nice. Visited Central Restaurant at their Petojo outlet for birthday dinner. In this visit, I ordered the mandatory Bakmi Goreng Ulang Tahun (Birthday Fried Noodle, with the signature orange / red colored quail eggs garnish on top), Paikut BBQ (BBQ Pork Ribs), Udang Goreng Mayones (deep fried floured shrimp in mayonnaise sauce), Lindung Cah Fumak (Sautéed Fried Eel with Fumak) and Brokoli Scallop Szechuan (Broccoli and Scallops in Szechuan sauce). Overall, i'm pretty satisfied with all the order from Central Restaurant Petojo. However, their Brokoli Scallop Szechuan kinda have a fishy smell for my sensitive palate (maybe its just isn't to my liking). This is not just an ordinary chinese food restaurant, it's been here since i was just a little girl. The team are friendly and they've been there for years, it feels like family. You can also feel it from the warm greetings and generous smile when you walked in.

All of their dishes is tasty and never fails to impress me everytime i ate them.
