Lots of variety to choose from. Bread, buns and cakes are refill daily. You can find taro, coconut, peanut, chocolates, cheese and even lapis legit here.
Service is welcoming and friendly. During PSBB they also setup special counter for selling frozen dumplings and siaomai. Next to the special counter also serve few variety of togo food such as nasi hainam ayam, nasi kungpao. (Need to pay seperately from the bread items, cash only)
Parking outside is limited, however if you wait for a while, they will be someone leaving and you can park right in front of the shop.
Air conditioning inside. There is also upstairs during normal operating (pre PSBB).
Overall good experience and service.
One thing you need to prepare is bring enough cash for small purchase. New normal situation people prefer to use cashless transactions, however you need to spend minimum amount of 200k for debit card and 400k minimum for credit card is abit too much for small purchases. Else you have to buy enough breads and buns to be able to transact in card payment.
Also bread and bun best to eat on the same day for freshness and quality. Buying too much bread n bun that last a few days of supply just to able to use cards payment make me wonder.
Perhaps they need to move forward with cashless payment like other shops around Jakarta...
Read moreDid errands just now and picked up some items in the photo at Eaton. Have been a customer to this bakery for quite some time, also ordered their birthday cakes, kue lapis (traditional layered cakes) and hampers many times. They are known for their Taro (yam) birthday cake, not too sweet, smooth cake and you can select the designs on their menu. 🙂 Since pandemic they have been offering frozen foods. I tried their frozen dory, dim sum and swekiau. They were good and definitely helpful when you don't have time to cook. Just turn on the microwave or the stove, and voila!! In this picture, you can see the frozen dory + sauce (just put cut onions on the pan, some garlic and pour the sauce, sugar, salt to taste and done!). Lately I enjoyed their Loafty Bread. I am personally satisfied by the flavor, both the smoked chicken and cheddar cheese combined are wonderful + soft and fluffy bread, a winner 🏆!! As we're getting closer to Chinese New Year, they also have provided nice hampers for you to send to loved ones or colleagues or just enjoy it at home. Currently there is early bird offer before February 1st, 2020. Throughout the year, they offer hampers for Christmas and New Year, and Idul Fitri as well. Hope you find...
