"Shinkai Toro Japanese Restaurant in Pluit, Jakarta, is a true culinary gem offering an extensive array of Japanese delights. Nestled amidst the bustling cityscape, this restaurant exudes an aura of sophistication and charm, making it the perfect destination for an unforgettable dining experience.

Upon stepping into Shinkai Toro, you're greeted by an ambiance that seamlessly blends elegance with warmth. The stylish decor and intimate lighting create an inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an exceptional meal.

While Shinkai Toro may not offer ramen, fear not, as their menu boasts a wide variety of other Japanese delicacies to tantalize your taste buds. From an impressive selection of sushi and maki rolls bursting with freshness to succulent yakitori skewers grilled to perfection, every dish is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality and authenticity.

But the culinary delights don't end there – Shinkai Toro also offers an irresistible assortment of desserts to satisfy your sweet tooth. From traditional Japanese treats to innovative creations, there's something to delight every palate.

One of the highlights of dining at Shinkai Toro is the availability of private rooms, perfect for hosting intimate gatherings or family celebrations. Whether you're planning a cozy dinner for two or a larger event with friends and family, the restaurant's private rooms provide a secluded space where you can dine and celebrate in style.

Overall, my dining experience at Shinkai Toro Japanese Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the wide variety of Japanese cuisine to the elegant atmosphere and attentive service, every aspect of the experience exceeded my expectations. Whether you're a seasoned lover of Japanese cuisine or simply looking for a memorable dining experience in Pluit, Jakarta, Shinkai Toro is definitely worth a visit. Check it out and prepare to...

In my opinion, they are deserving of much more attention due to the exceptional quality of their food and the excellent service they provide. The dining experience is very pleasant and the ambiance is quite comforting. They have a spacious dining area on two floors that can probably accommodate more than 100 people. Apparently, they are under the same ownership as Yume Japanese Resto at Renon Denpasar, Bandar Nelayan, and AHK Dimsum at Bypass Ngurah Rai Bali.

We ordered salmon nigiri sushi to assess its quality and freshness. The color was a beautiful shade of red, and the portion of salmon was generous. Each bite proved to be worth the price (30K), even though it was slightly more expensive than the well-known Sushi H*. We also tried their signature dish, shinkai sushi roll, which consisted of unagi, otoro, and tamago. The combination was absolutely delicious and fresh. Moreover, dipping them into the teriyaki sauce, spicy powder, and wasabi elevated the experience to the next level. The unagi maki was satisfactory and comparable to other premium Japanese restaurants. As for the chicken teriyaki, the meat was succulent and delectable, and the price was...

Could have been an easy 5, but some service improvement needed to get it.

Tried to reserve during dinner time for my family of 3. When i texted them, they said it is available. I wrote my reservation, and was asked me to fill in a form and just left me at read when i replied back. When i arrived, they said i have no reservation. So i showed them my text message, no answer, no apologies, just let me inside.

Ordering generally went well, but when food came, they didn't prepare the small saucers for the soy sauce. When I asked for wasabi extra wasabi, it never came, until I have to ask to the sushi counter. Ordering extra salmon sushi took forever. The place wasn't even full so it's quite surprising for me, but maybe because the place is relatively new. You can see like 3-4 servers busy attending a table of 15, so the other tables not getting enough attention.

Food was excellent. So good that i forgot to take pictures of every single one of em. Price to quality also on point. Interiors are very...
