Kimukatsu @ Gandaria City is located at the Ground Level. A Japapanese restaurant famous for its KATSU. Also as being said to have the best and delicious Katsu ever in Jakarta. Their specialty is THE BEEF KATSU PLATTER. You can only find this kind of Katsu @ Kimukatsu. It is a kind of katsu filled with raw beef in the middle. There is a small black grill pan to roast the raw beef. After being grilled, the raw beef tastes like ham and the outer skin is crunchy. I order chicken Katsu Cheese. One of the best and recommended menu. 1 complete set consists of rice, miso soup and a small dish of mayonaise macaroni, sesame seeds, and spring onion served as pickles. Uniquely, we can mix the sauce seasonings ourselves. They provide a small bowl and a small wooden pounder to grind the sesame seeds into powder. The katsu is also delicious, thick, juicy and the outside is very crispy. There's also a lot of moza cheese in it, combined with a nutty and tasty sauce, it's even more perfect! It's just fun to crush the sesame seeds and mix the sauce. Sometimes, there is a promo of 50% discount for ordering meals amounted to IDR 400K (excl. The tax).

One of restaurant located in Gandaria City's mall, easily to find and place not that spacious but enough. Just to note, to place your order you shall do it by using barcode that given by the waitress after you get into your seat. The bar code will lead you into a website to order the food. And when you finished and want to pay, you could do it on the same website or choose the option 'pay on cashier'.

Their menu are varies, but mostly focusing on Katsu. Taste good, well cripiness and decent portion. The rice is sticky and nice. The Katsu sauce also taste good. Price understandable.

But since it's located in the mall, somehow it's pretty noisy...

I had such a great dining experience at Kimukatsu Gandaria City! The restaurant has a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for enjoying Japanese comfort food. The highlight, of course, is their signature mille-feuille katsu — crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. Every bite was packed with flavor.

The service was excellent too — the staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to serve. I also appreciated the variety of sauces and side dishes that complemented the katsu really well.
