We ordered:
Pandan chicken - fried chicken wrapped in aromatic pandan leaves served with sweet & spicy soya dipping.
Breaded silky tofu - silky egg tofu covered with crispy breadcrumbs, with sweet chili dipping on the side.
Crab omelette - fluffy & moist omelette combined with fresh crab meat. It' one of our favourite dishes.
Pineapple fried rice - aromatic & flavorful yellowish fried rice with pineapple, raisins & prawns. Served on top a pineapple bowl.
Pad thai goong - stir fried chewy rice noodles with prawns, egg, tofu, peanuts, beanshoots. All mixed together, tasted tangy, spicy & burst of flavor.

It's a casual type of meals. Easy, fast, affordable...

I thought for once, I should leave my comfort zone (Japanese Cuisine) by trying something new, alas, this dining experience went south. I know for sure that I'm not going back here.
We ordered Tom Yum (a trainwreck, honestly), it had this awful bitter aftertaste and it tasted awfully fishy! (coming from me, who live and breathe sushi) It gave me a bad headache almost immediately I thought I was going to throw up.
We sent the food back, and whatever adjustments were made improved the flavor, but the initial impression had already tainted the experience. It was scary.
The only good thing was the Mango Sticky Rice, although I'm not quite sure whether it was actually delicious, or it was just a palate cleanser after the nightmare that came before.
Service was rather slow, asked for a spoon and felt like I aged a year waiting for it, eventually, I gave up and went straight for the bowl.
Well, I think I'm going to stick to Japanese Cuisine...
Read moreI ordered to pick up grilled chicken on rice for my dinner. The dish came with a fried egg. It was a very simple dish. The chicken had a bit of flavor, yet was rather chewy. The egg and rice were not special. What was better was sturdy packing. The listed price for such a dish was 68k, excluding tax and service.
This time, we had a dine-in experience at this premise. We ordered foods seen in pictures. I liked all. I liked the omelet because it tasted good with shrimps in it. Though rather chewy, the squid was flavorful. The beef was tender and delicious. The services were prompt. The ambiance was good for having conversations.
We paid another visit for dinner with friends. We ordered papaya salad, pandan chicken, and tom kha kai (see pictures) for sharing. I ordered a red rubby for myself. The salad wasn't too sour nor spicy, but refreshing. The chicken was tender and juicy. The soup was flavorful with enough portion to share. The rubby was sweet...
