Beware of a FOREIGNER SCAMbeing run at this Restaurant, Koi Kemang. I visited this restaurant with a girl that I met on social media. She is the one who suggested this place and said it was very nice. Only later would I realize why she wanted to come here. I met her at the restaurant and we sat down and I bought her a couple drinks. I drank a couple of beers. She wanted to order food and I told her that since it was the first time we were meeting I offered to buy her a drinks and nothing more. I made it clear that I was only buying her a drink or 2. To make a long story short when we got ready to leave the padded bill arrived which showed extra drinks and food that I hadn't ordered and never saw delivered to the table. When I complained that there were extra items on the bill that I had not ordered and had not been delivered to the table I was told that the girl had ordered the items and I must pay. A bill that should have been $20/$30 dollars ended up being over $80. I had no choice but to pay or not be able to leave the restaurant. I'm sure now looking back that people at the restaurant was involved in this scam. That's obviously the reason why she wanted to come here in the first place. ...

My wife an I had dinner there last night and had a very underwhelming experience. The elevator and restaurant both reeked of cigarettes, even in the nonsmoking section. My wife had truffle ravioli with brown butter while I had the smoked brisket ravioli. For an appetizer we had calamari. When the calamari came out we were given plates to eat it off, but that was sorted fairly quickly. After we ate the calamari they took away the plate and cutlery, but left our new cutlery on the bare table. Once our ravioli dishes arrive, we found ourselves yet again underwhelmed. The “brown butter” wasn’t browned at all. The ravioli was too thick in places and didn’t have enough filling. While we were eating out substandard meal a waiter and waitress stood about 3 meters away speaking and laughing loudly without baby regard to our dining experience. Fast forward to 3A.M. and my stomach is in knots and I’m nauseous. After all the disappointment of our dining experience, I was rewarded with food poisoning. I’ve been up all night in the restaurant.
