It is correct that the place is not open everyday (can see from the lamp sign).
It is also true that we need to wait abit for the food. Well no worries when you can come here with someone you care or love (ie. family, spouse, friends). It wont feel like forever as you can sit acceptably in the store.
However, it is undeniable this place is still a legend. One of the best in Jakarta.
The food is well cooked despite it is a mass cooking show. It still have the "char" taste. Not too salty just suit to my taste, but for my wife she added a bit of soy sauce. quite generous toppings of big fresh prawns (the star of the food in my opinion), lap jiong (sweet pork sausage), hi wan (fish ball not fishy) and scrambled duck egg.
The portion is good enough for a man. Seriously, I came here hungry, straightaway from office. Having this is satisfying just enough portion.
Price wise it is indeed more pricey than the others but remember the quality of the toppings (esp the big prawn), I can say it is worth it.
The cook is the sisters (which is why called Cie Mei means older sister and younger sister). I think hehe. Read moreThe char /fried kwetiao isi has delicious fragrance, got seafood and lapchiong. The taste is delicious with its wok burnt taste but not worth the price.

Aka like my table, kwetiao orders finished consumed then she served the fried noodle. After the long wait, the fried noodle taste is bland and not as good as kwetiao.
To summarize, with 25 minutes plus wait, and the price of 65k, its not worth it especially with the restaurant service and the taste average good. For a food enthusiast, not fancy visit again- good for one...
Read moreSomehow, the service felt a bit slow, as in order it takes some time until you got your order. However, it could be because it is receiving non-stop order (coz yes....it is THAT GOOD 🤤🤤🤤), and also because si encik is the one and only cook there. But, surely, worth the wait! Oooh....a single portion is not enough for me 🫠 at least, and extra one, to share for 2 or 3. Tips: if you come in party of 3, order 4 dish: 3 with full isi, and 1 kosongan aja, the isi is quite generous kok to add in the kosongan (either with egg or eggless). One more extra point for this place....it is super...
