Stopped by in Saturday and the place is not crowded, just 1 cust besides us. The place is located in housing area, quite away from the main road with a small "Lemondiscofish" signage which is easy to be missed.
The place has it own parking lot (in their front yard). When we got there, we can find it very "green" and very homey, a great place to take some aesthetic photographs. They have wide range of flavors variants to choose from, some of them are "unique" (most likely you can't find it on another place) like kastengels, rujak, teh botol, etc. You can check their instagram for more updated flavors list. They also sell another type of desserts (cakes, heesecakes, pastries).
The price is quite affordable. Ordered their small cup (got 2 scoops/2 different flavors). Choose their kastengels and vanilla, and my partner choose stroopwafel and chocolate.
The one i love the most is their kastengels! It's so delicious, beyond my expectation. Not too sweet, balanced with the cheese taste (salty&gurih). You can really taste the "kastengel" here. Love it so much and will order this again if i come back here again.
The chocolate one is not made of dark chocolate, i think. Not my fav because i was expecting a dark chocolate but in reality, it's a lil bit sweet. But if you like sweet chocolate, you might love this.
Vanilla is okay. Just like another vanilla flavor. Too sweet for me (i don't like sweets). But if you want to 'play safe' or want the simple one, you can choose this. Nothing could go wrong with vanilla and chocolate.
Stroopwafel is below our expectation. It has waffle chunks inside, but lacks the caramel flavors. More like a vanilla with waffle. I think they can...
Read moreWent here for a quick saturdate with my son, as he's a big fan of anything ice cream, sorbet, gelato. I tried some interesting flavors such as honey lavender, orange young coconut (jeruk kelapa muda), earl grey, and hot cross bun (cinnamon and raisin twist), while he keeps his regular preference (mango, strawberry, vanilla). The taste are good, not too sweet and not too milky, the texture is soft. Abit pricey yes, but hey, if money can reconnect you with your almost forgotten happiness once in a while, then why not? The chiller display shelves were not cold enough to keep the ice cream frozen I guess, as some of the ice cream were start to melt when we were there. The portion is average, but one of the crew (Miss Bening) was very generous to give me extra when I asked to add more portion as it was too small to my regular portion. The place is small and cozy, not so many seats provided for your easy and quiet moment, and some spots are nice for taking pics. Long short story, this one is worth to try. Hope you can keep the...
Read moreGreat gelato and coffee place!
The gelatos are worth the try, from chocolate, ferrero rocher, rum raisin, to houjicha, black sesame, to mango, rujak, and even teh botol. The cafe offers infused water to wash down the aftertaste. Pretty good price to enjoy the ambience.
l only tasted the japanese-style cold brew coffee and kopi susu and they tasted great. Not a lot variety of coffees but they do have cakes and pastries. The cheese pudding is combination of cheesecake topped with vanilla pudding, tasted great. The russian honey cake tasted like honey frosted cornflakes.
Aside from food and drinks they also offer m eco-friendly products such as beeswax wrap, groceries bag, honey, etc.
This cafe/gelato place is located inside a house with black iron gate, near New Zealand International School. Not a very big space, as per August 2019 they can only fill in...
