I dislike leaving a negative review, I really do. But this time, I have to. I went to this place knowing that they serve multiple vegetarian options (as I am vegetarian). They have the vegetarian sign on some of their menus showing that the dish contains no meat, I then ordered the mushroom and spinach ravioli. The dish came and it was all great, until I realised that I bit into something meaty. I panicked, and saw that my ravioli had beef in it. I then cut all the raviolis in half, to see what’s inside and discovered that 3 of those raviolis were filled with beef (the others were filled with mushrooms and spinach). I was shocked but I hate it when food goes to waste, so I just put those raviolis containing meat on the side, and finished the rest of them. I then called the waitress to address the issue, and explained to her nicely about the problem, for her to reply “oh this is mushroom”….. I know that they’re not mushrooms?? She then took my plate to talk to the chef about it. The manager then came to us to apologise, confirming that it was indeed beef in those raviolis. Which I appreciated. But she doesn’t speak good English, I don’t think that she understood my issue here. I tried telling her to manage the kitchen better, as it means those raviolis were mixed in the kitchen… but I don’t think she got it. But I appreciated the fact that she came to us to apologise. Until…. We asked for the bill and saw that they still charged us for the raviolis. Any restaurants of this caliber shouldn’t charge customers for their mistakes. Because I was nice to them, they think that this isn’t a problem. Because I finished my meal, then it’s not a problem. In fact no, I did not finish my meal, I didn’t eat the raviolis that were filled with meat. Because they don’t speak English, I guess they didn’t understand that I told them that the problem is with some of the raviolis, they just thought I happily finished my bowl of beef ravioli. I know a lot of people don’t really care about vegetarians, they probably think I’m exaggerating it right now. But think of it this way… what if a restaurant claims that the meal has no pork in it, but you’ll be surprised with pork in your meal? Which then makes it not halal. What if I were actually allergic to meat? That would be fatal! All in all, please check your kitchen better. And make sure that the food you claim vegetarian is actually vegetarian and not mixed with meat. Lastly, no other restaurants would still charge customers for their mistake. We were not...

Read moreOh.. This is a paradise for me as this place serves so many variant of French pâtisserie, viennoiseries, cakes, along with the dishes from the restaurant.
Levant Boungalerie has spacious outdoor and indoor area, but unfortunately the parking space, especially for car is very limited. It can only accommodate for about 5 cars, and the rest of the parking space is for motorcycle. Since this place is also crowded, that's why I suggest you to come here by using a public transport.
They also serve all day dining from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Since we came here after having a dinner, so we only tried their dessert and ordered their viennoiserie for to-go.
Here are what I tried :
Tiramisu (IDR 80,000) A soft texture sponge cake that is made with espresso, mascarpone, coffee liqueur, and rum. The taste is less sweet and although it contains alcohol, but it doesn't strong at all 😉
Double Baked Almond Croissant (IDR 36,000) I must admit that this is THE BEST CROISSANT that I've ever had so far! The croissant has a firm and flaky texture. Once you slice it, the croissant won't crush down. It is filled with the sweet almond paste filling (the more you eat it, the sweeter taste you'll get) and topped with almond as well. Although the taste is a bit too sweet for me, but I still love the croissant!
Levant Spiced Iced Tea (IDR 45,000) The spiced iced tea made with cinnamon, served with basil and lime. I requested it without sugar. It's a fresh drink with not too strong spiced taste.
I'll definitely come back again to Levant Boungalerie to try their brunch and main...
