I went to this place on 26/04/23 with high expectations because it looks great on paper, had potentially relaxing ambience to have conversations with my friends, and I was proven to be wrong.
Since the very beginning, I already felt like an unwelcome guest because the manager/store owner was not welcoming me let alone with enthusiasm, but not even a welcoming attitude in the slightest. I really didn’t know whether I should wait for the table or I can find it myself till they asked me for how many people. I answered two and they didn’t even accompany me with a smile or some reassurance that I am welcomed here. I don’t want to assume, but to be honest the manager kinda gave me a “looking down” expression as if I’m not fancy enough to be there, but this is clearly subjective and it might not be the case, but it doesn’t negate the unwelcoming ambience I received from the staff.
They found me a table for two outside and told me it was the only available table and when I asked is there any table inside, they showed their unwillingness to even try to see the availability.
After I received the menu, it took me quite some time to find what I wanted, and the manager came to me to ask whether I’m ready to order or not, as if rushing me to order it right away. They didn’t even let me know where should I order and how.
I ordered the chicken alfredo pasta and butterscotch coffee hoping that at least the food and drink will be of any good, but I was proven to be wrong again. For this price point, the food was subpar, nothing special and I’ve had better pasta for a lower price. I didn’t even get any hint of butterscotch while drinking the coffee, just seemed like a regular iced coffee.
Yes, the place is “good” on paper and some influencer reviews but the service was disappointing and the food and drink were underwhelming. I emphasize, considering the price point. I initially wanted to be there with my friend but I told them not to come and just find another place. I left as soon as I finished the food. I wasn’t even intrigued to take any pictures. The worst 197k I’ve spent for food & drink and definitely wouldn’t want...
Read moreIts a very nice place and well decorated, unfortunately the food was just ok but the croissant was not ok at all i would not recomend the croissant to anyone, since the one that i had was suppose to be their best seller which is Kaya Croissant buat when i try its kind a like 2 days old croissant very chewy and not crispy at all eventhough they already re-heat it in the oven, and the worst was when i try the filling it was sour (makes me think maybe its more then 2 days its been sitting there) so when i told them, they kindly offer me to change to different croissant, which i did to "Nutella Croissant". unfortunately sorry to say this one is also chewy and not crispy i can't even finished it.
For the coffee the taste was good but the temp was way below 60c⁰ so it's more like luke warm coffee, my suggestion is to ask the barista to use thermometer time to time to check their own "latte" temp which suppose to be between 60-64c⁰
Regarding the chicken sandwich it was ok. But nothing special.
Will i come back : maybe but more for the ambiance i guess or maybe i'll try their pizza since i read lots of good review regarding the...
Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at The Post recently, and I couldn’t be more impressed! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed — it felt just like the ambiance of Bali in the middle of the city. The staff were attentive, friendly, and really made us feel at home.
The food was absolutely outstanding. We started with a chipotle chicken salad and a delicious, fluffy French toast, both perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. We also had sourdough pizza, with a crispy, chewy crust that was perfectly charred on top and bottom, loaded with all the good stuff — flavorful and satisfying. Not to mention the coffee, truly one of the best I’ve had in a long time! You could really taste the quality of the beans, and the flavors were so well-developed — not too bitter, with just the right amount of warmth and depth.
Overall, The Post delivered a wonderful dining experience, and I’ll definitely be back soon. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to hang out with great food and a warm atmosphere.
By the way, I was there for brunch, and the valet service was...
