Malacca Toast is a gastronomic delight that tantalizes taste buds with its exquisite flavors. The moment you step into the charming eatery, the aromatic symphony of freshly toasted bread and rich, Malaysian spices envelops you. Each bite is a journey through the vibrant culinary landscape of Malacca, a fusion of diverse influences that converge on your plate.

The menu offers a delightful array of choices, from the iconic Hainanese chicken rice balls to the aromatic Nasi Lemak draped in fragrant pandan leaves. The star, however, is the Malacca Toast itself – a perfect harmony of crispy bread and a decadent spread that dances on your palate. The golden toast, artfully adorned with kaya (a coconut and egg jam) and butter, is a testament to culinary craftsmanship.

As you savor each bite, the sweet and savory symphony unfolds, leaving a lingering satisfaction that transcends mere satiety. The ambiance of the place, adorned with subtle nods to Malacca's rich history, complements the culinary experience, creating a holistic journey for your senses.

In the heart of Malacca, this culinary gem beckons both locals and travelers alike, promising an unforgettable dining experience that transcends the ordinary. Malacca Toast is not just a meal; it's a celebration of flavors, culture, and the joy of indulging in the simple...

Malacca Toast provides Malaysian and Indonesian food from appetizer, snack, main dish, dessert and beverages. The place is quite comfortable, similar with cafe where I see some people bring the laptop and work here.

Here are what we tried :

Nasi Butter Chicken Ham & Cheese (IDR 41,000) The new and recommended menu from Malacca Toast. At first, I thought it will be served as baked butter rice with a lot of mozzarella cheese. However, it is a baked butter rice in a quick time baking (not baked thoroughly) served on a round plate with sliced chicken ham, cheese, and a few of mozzarella cheese. The chicken ham tastes good. But actually, this menu is below my expectation.

Roti Malacca Single (IDR 23,000) Consisting of four slices Malacca crunchy bread filled with butter that is melted inside. Tastes quite good!

Affogato Coffeee (IDR 38,000) Espresso with vanilla ice cream. The ice cream came from one of the famous ice cream brand from Indonesia. The combination of bitter espresso along with the sweet vanilla ice cream is good and fresh although the bitter taste...

The place looks cozy. The first floor was quite crowded then we (I and Wifey) decided to go upstair. The second floor has better lay out and felt roomy.

I was sceptical about the food at first. Came by just to try it out. We ordered “Nasi Lemak Ayam Penyet Sambal Matah” and “Nasi Campur Ayam Rebus Malacca”. And Boy did we get a surprise!!! Sambal matah is tasty and fresh. Nasi lemak is just right. Not too “heavy”. Nasi campur comes with chicken satay, bbq chicken and boiled chicken. They all have strong flavor exceeding our expectation.

The cendol nangka is also nice. I also ordered the Malaysian style Iced Coffee with Milk. It is among the good ones that I have tried before.

Overall, we are very satisfied and plan to come back with our friends.

One more thing... expect a bit slow service. Seems that it takes some time for kitchen to prepare the...

Look at the picture and I'm craving for their sweet red spicy potato chips in the menu books, comes out it is something different. Kentang balado. The bilis is different from Malaysians. Don't want to comment about sambal. They said this is curry chicken that is fried, however this is just normal Ayam Kuning. Eating here due to craving Malaysian Food, turns out eating normal Indonesian Food. My friend Fried Kari Noodle is better. That's why the food rating 2. But that's all. Service is good. Location good. The unhurt sadness..
