Ombé Kofie Cikajang — Restaurant in Jakarta

Situated in a ground floor of a shop lot, it is authentically classic and cosy place for a good meal and a small selection of coffee. Love the Italian styled Roasted Pork Porchetta, served with two some local chillies - customised to the local taste. Guess most restaurants operating in Jakarta is tweaking the food taste to the local taste in which we are getting use to it having stayed in Jakarta for 3 years. The caesar salad was fresh and tasty too. Our only qualms is that the table for two is rather small. Extra ordinary coffee and food. Never dissapointed here. The only drawbacks were lack of parking space as this place were always full from the opening until close. My favorite drinks here were Ice salted caramel and white cold brew, and favorites food were Pork Noodles ( if you were lucky enough to get it since they only serve it in limited amount for breakfast only), I also tried braised pork belly, pork chop sambal matah and salmon sambal ijo. This place is a homy place, where we can have good coffee. In my visit here, I tried their Columbian coffee V60 brewed, and 2 of their espresso (Ombe blend and Ethiopian coffee).

The Columbian coffee has rose, pineapple and coco pandan taste note and the V60 method managed to get all of the taste notes. Worth to try if you are a manual brew coffee lover.

As for the espresso, both taste great. Both have good crema as the espresso machine they use is also a good quality one to complement the excellent coffee beans.
