Have visited this restaurant a few times before when the name was still Ling Ling and even though they rebranded it, I love how they are still consistent with the HK theme. I have loved their food since before and I still love it until now. Their HK omelette rice is good, probably one of the bests in town. The dimsums are still good as ever. I also tried a new dish called Lu Rou Fan and I must say the taste is also satisfactory.

The ambience of The Lucky Peach is very nice, even better than before.

The downside was their service. I ordered 3 dishes (HK Omelette, Cheong Fan, Lu Rou Fan) and and 1 beverage. The other 2 dishes had been served already in 20 minutes but the last one had not, so one of the waitresses told us to wait and confirmed that the other one (Lu Rou Fan) was still being made. So we waited another 45 minutes without the Lu Rou Fan being served at all :( after that we asked one of the waiters, he said that the Lu Rou Fan had not even been inputted to our orders and asked us whether we would still like to order or not :( The second disappointment was the Cheong Fan, we clearly ordered Chicken Chasiu Cheong Fan but instead it came out as Prawn Cheong Fan. They insisted that we ordered Prawn but after some disputes they finally gave us our Chicken Chasiu with the prawn one as complimentary dish. To be honest, mixing the chicken and prawn should be noted with caution because the latter one is allergenic.

Hopefully the service may be improved next time because this restaurant has so...

Went here on a Sunday, around 10 AM with my boyfriend and here are our thoughts: We ordered HK omelet rice with beef stir fry, prawn cheong fun, and brioche honey toast. Food wise, everything was really good. The portions are great and definitely worth the price points. The beef was so soft and tender, the sauce for the prawn cheong fun was so yummy and has the right amount of saltiness, and the brioche honey toast was DELIGHTFUL. Definitely such a staple comfort food and honestly we'd come back for the food The service on the other hand... it took us atleast 25 minutes to get seated. We were standing by the door for probably 15 minutes until they let us wait at the bar, which we still had to wait... for atleast another 10-15 minutes. It's not that there weren't any tables available, but it was that there had been atleast 3 tables that were still dirty; with plates and drinks stacked on top of each other. We had to wait THAT long for the waiters to literally clean tables Food waiting time was okay, but we had to call 3 waiters just to get the bill... The first one somehow did not get the card machine/asked other waiters to get the card machine and just continued cleaning this one table and started talking to this other waiter, the second one somehow forgot and just continued serving food, and FINALLY we got the card machine Overall: good food, but really really really really bad service. Please get proper waiters cause the service was...

Overall experience: Contacted their Whatsapp in the morning, no response until the evening 😅 but luckily we managed to get some seats by the bar during lunchtime (tip: get some reservation app like Chopee if you don't have the resource to manage the reservation). Despite coming at lunchtime (full house, too), the food were very quickly served (less than 15 minutes, I actually timed it) which was amazing. Oh, and they were served perfectly, too, not missing anything like it was rushed. Table management may need some improvement, but kitchen management is definitely already 🔥🔥🔥 great job

Food: Chicken & mushroom claypot rice (7/10) A bit of a letdown. We loved the beef bacon to bits! Very juicy and thicccc but the rice itself needed more flavor. It's just.. dry and bland unless you mix it up with more soy sauce and chilli oil

Squid ink dumpling (8/10) Loved the dumplings! They tasted almost like hakau? (Because of the fillings) I expected the squid ink or the tobiko topping to bring out more flavors but nah... not really

Prawn Cheungfan (8/10) Classic. Generous amount of prawn. Not really memorable though 😬

Toast & bolo bun (10/10) We loooved the pandan kaya jam, it's so addictive! Ordered the bolo bun first then the toast cause we wanted more. Bolo bun was perfectly crispy on the outside, but firm and soft on the inside. The toast was fluffy and not...
