Shabu Shiro — Restaurant in Jakarta

Came here with high expectations due to the good ratings. However, it fell short as we feel that the service definitely needs improvement.

We were served by a waitress who seemed quite inexperienced. She might be new, but honestly, it shouldn’t have affected the customer experience. While taking our order, she appeared unfamiliar with the menu and promotions, leading to multiple back and forth. In the end, the bill was higher than expected because she entered our order incorrectly (we were given a more expensive beef dish than we had originally ordered - which is something that should be the restaurant’s responsibility to catch, not the customer’s no?).

Overall, the food was decent, but the service left a lot to be desired. Not sure if we’ll return, as this experience has impacted our impression...

Salah satu japanese hot pot yang wajib dicobain nih. Mumpung masih masa promo opening, jadi pastinya lebih worth. Cocok makan sendiri atau sama bestieee, makan bareng keluarga jg cocok karna ada privat room nya.

Mereka menyediakan beberapa varian kuah kaldu yang bisa dipilih, aku cobain kolagen dan kaldu ikan, 22nya sedeeep bgt. Untuk daging ada premium beef dan ada juga pork bali. Yang seru disini dagingnya langsung di slice dan kita bisa menyaksikan proses pemotongan dengan mesin yg satisfying bgt. Pertama kali sih aku liat proses ini.

1 paket sudah termasuk daging, sayuran, kuah kaldu dan free kondimen bisa ambil sepuasnya. Nah disini jg bebas ambil sesuka kita : popcorn, ice cream, aneka pilihan minuman. Kita bisa racik aneka saos cocolan, ada petunjuk jg sih, atau bisa minta tolong staff yg bakal bantuin kita.

The reviews don't lie! We tried because we saw the rating is high and we're not disappointed at all! Not only value for money, the quality of the food and service are great too. The free flow beer and Haagen Dazs ice cream are too good to be true. They also provide various flavors of the ice cream and different beer brands. The waitress are super friendly and keep offering us free snacks and condiments. Great and worth to try...
