It was bad. Real bad.
Don’t get me wrong. The room was as shown on the gallery. The facility was as listed in the listing. The location was as good as it is pointed. So, the hotel is fine.
Unfortunately my experience was not.
i was looking for a parking space from P1 to P3 and going back to P1. And yet i got none. The security that we asked to help was gone in a poof and nowhere to be seen. And so we complaint to the gate personnel. Still we are charged. The amount does not matter, but basically we are charged for driving around in a parking lot, trying to find a parking space that does not exist and finished up with a different form of “screw you.”
plumbing in my room was upset which upset me as well. When we came in, the floor was extremely dirty, and don’t even start with me with the smell, it is like someone was puking on the floor. I called the guest service. They say they will bring a person in. Around 7 minutes passed and no one came. Once, okay? I called again. Again they said they will bring another one up to my room. I waited for a bit longer this time. 9? 10 minutes? No one came. Twice, alright? So i called the third time with a tad of fury, and after several minutes finally someone came. And then that someone realized that it is a major problem (what a surprise *rolled eyes) and retrieve their engineers asap. Apparently the pipes were not able to hold greywater or dirtywater and spouted them back to my bathroom floor. Can you imagine the smell and my disgust? We were moved to another room immediately. Two very bad points here; their lack of care of my discomfort annoyed me. I called three times until they came. What a “pleasant” and “swift” attitude. And moving room? It would have been okay if we got an upgrade or something, but if i had to move in the beginning of the evening i would have chosen another hotel. Not another room on the same floor on the same hotel. Nuts. But, they did offer free fruits. Because i cannot buy the fruits by myself and it was an apple, some grapes, and a banana. What a wonderful apology. yea right, it was a sarcasm for those of you who don’t get it.

Read moreWe recently stayed at the GranDhika Iskandarsyah Hotel during our business trip, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience! The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was taken care of, making us feel truly comfortable throughout our stay.||A special shout-out to Ibu Sasya, our kind and diligent Guest Relations Officer, and Ibu Tuti, our charming and attentive lady from the Guest Service Centre. They made sure we had everything we needed, and their warm hospitality made a significant impact on our visit. ||We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to the exceptional hotel manager, Pak Johan Arief, and thank him for his dedication and commendable work. A warm thank you to the drivers as well, especially the two hardworking Pak Jeje and Pak Wahyu, and really everyone at the hotel - from the reception team and spa staff to the room service and cleaning personnel, as well as the restaurant team, and kitchen staff. Each one played a vital role in making our time at the GranDhika Iskandarsyah Hotel unforgettable.||While the overall service was fantastic, we did notice that there were moments when the response times were a bit slower than expected. Though the staff was always dedicated and eager to assist, a bit more efficiency in handling requests would elevate the experience even further.||The rooms, while needing a slightly update, were still very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Additionally, we feel that some common areas of the hotel, such as the corridors and public restrooms, could also benefit from a refresh to match the overall quality of service and comfort. That said, the breakfast was a standout, offering a wide range of delicious options to suit every taste.||The hotel's location is also perfect, providing easy access to local attractions and making it an ideal choice for both business and leisure travelers. We will definitely return to the GranDhika Iskandarsyah Hotel for our next trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.||Terima kasih banyak, and we look forward to seeing...

In general terms it is a good hotel, but there are some serious problems to be taken in consideration.
Good: Comfortable bed Good shower with a decent anti-slippery floor Lots of staff usually helpful Switchers to indicate "do not disturb" and "clean the room" Nice view of the Jakarta financial district (only for rooms in the back of the building)
Neutral: Large breakfast, but most of the options are very exotic for a western person, that make the options very limited Laundry service, but clothes are sent to outside service provider, that may take time
Bad: Crowded breakfast: the space is limited and frequently is full, sometimes completely crowded and you cannot have breakfast, unless you wait until near 10:00 AM. This is a very disgusting problem! Many insects inside the rooms, a kind of fruit flies Poor mini-bar, that cool just a little, and only if the AC of the room is working (otherwise is useless) Poor central air conditioning, does not cool properly and lots of dust coming thru Rooms have carpet, that make the room contaminated Window does not open, making the contamination even worst They rent the space for conferences and parties. Crowd and nosily! Parties near-by, with loud music until late night in the back of the building, and a noisily avenue in the other side of the building No free late check-out, even if you stay for weeks, they will charge you an extra night if you do checkout in the afternoon, that is abusive Poor illumination in the rooms, with yellow lamps that make hard to simple things like to read a document No preventive maintenance. It is only reactive. They are expecting that you will advise them about the room problems (poor AC, clog sink, ...). The staff watch on what you do inside the room. I bought at the supermarket 2 large bottles of water and kept inside the mini-bar, but at the time of do checkout they tried to charge me There is an attached restaurant, but they allow to...
