Osteria GIA Pondok Indah Mall 2 — Restaurant in Jakarta

Honestly if they provide better hospitality i would like to put 5 stars. Sepertinya sudah penyakit hospitality di Indonesia di banyak restaurant and bar kalau datang hanya pakai baju biasa, doesn't look fancy or we didn't order alot of stuff doesn't mean we don't deserve your service. Whoever dine in they deserved the standart of the hospitality you given to the guest. Because we are not only paying for the food but also the service. Saat duduk aja disuruh langsung mau order, no greeting, no smiling atau tanpa ada product knowledge or asking for recommendation, the waitres seem in hurry but the restaurant doesn't look that busy, awalnya kita hanya order 1 appetizer and 1 pasta for share untuk 2 orang then after we order steak for the main course and she keep repeating minumum to order is 400gr and we are ok with it. Kita masih positive thinking mungkin waitress nya dr awal lg badmood jd keliataan judes banget dimana membuat kita ga nyaman. Anyway... THE FOOD WAS DELIZIOSO. THANKS TO THE CHEF! BRAVO. and hopefully will come back for the food but not...

Good place for hangout, great food but expensive.

My husband and I tried 1 appetizer and 2 main course. We tried Appetizer Arancini Rice Croquette - Astonishingly delicious!! Hard to explain but the combination between the rice, the wagyu bolognese and cheese are just perfect, it is crispy outside but what inside is melted in your mouth

Main Course Spaghetti del Pescatore - My husband really like it, the spaghetti is oily; full of fresh seafood such as squid, prawn. If you like oily spaghetti rather thank creamy, you should try. Spaghettoni Pomodoro - it is a classic tomato sauce spaghetti, I personally really like it! Though it is full of tomato sauce, it is not too sour, combined with tasty cheese are just perfect. Plus the meatball, it is a more perfect combination.

Though it is expensive, but I recommend you to try as it is worth it. PS do not easily OK-ing the waiter if they offer you bottle of water, because it is not free like in other countries. Except you really want to order...

this the perfect place to grab dinner with family, i’ve been here with my family twice for a special occasion dinner. i think the taste just fit perfectly with my parents very indonesian tongue.

what we always remember at osteria gia is their welcome bread, their focaccia is just the best by itself. me and my mom is just sooo obsessed with their focaccia 🥺⭐️

we also always ordered their pizza when we dine here, we love the crust. its just perfectly between thick and thin, just the right thickness we love. the crust is so soft and chewy at the same time and always smells heavenly. i recommend to always ordered their pizza at osteria gia ⭐️😙

all their pasta always taste amazing imo, we all loved it soo much. i always wanted to try their tiramius but never got the chance to, because we always sooo full after the meal that our stomach can handle a dessert T_T

definitely will be coming back soon to have a meal and their tiramisu...
