While the food rarely ever disappoints, I have to COMPLAIN about the health and safety issue at the entrance of the newly renovated restaurant. The entrance to the restaurant was so steep/ slated - that my mother almost fell down because of it. The entrance step was too steep and positioned awkwardly next to the cashier - as we had to pay directly at the cashier. This, combined with other people who also have to enter the place through the same step , is a health and safety hazard. Thankfully my mom was able to push herself forward to the cashier table instead of falling over - but if she hadn’t, things could’ve gone for the worse. As we complained to the staff, one of them mentioned that this issue has been put forward by other guests in the past. Clearly the management is not taking any action - are you going to wait until someone actually falls down right at your doorstep? Please - your restaurant is so popular and your guests range from babies to elderly. Be inclusive!!! You just had the restaurant renovated but this entrance is not safe. This is so NOT elderly/ disability-friendly. Be considerate and take this issue seriously for the safety of so many...

Why you will love it ❤ Sushi that never disappoints. The taste is more or less the same in most branches. But I like the branch in PIM 2 the most because the protein to rice ratio is good and the way they cut the sushi is neat. Favourite go-to menu is salmon maki, chuka wakame gunkan, inari tuna salad, aburi salmon roll, spicy haruyaki and fuji roll. The salmon is fresh (although I've had fresher salmon maki) and with the price point and the level of freshness, it's a good deal. Every now and then they have a new sushi menu, I forgot the name of the sushi I tried (looks like volcano roll in other restaurants, not sure). But it was pretty decent. It had quite a nice burnt taste and similar flavor profile with the fuji roll, though I must say I prefer the fuji roll because it's bigger and the salmon and the mayo is more generous. Great service, considering they are always packed.
What could be improved 🙏 If you come here, I suggest to avoid peak hours during dinner/lunch because the waiting list is usually quite long. But the line is just proof that the food is good, right?

Saya membawa teman saya yang hari ini berulang tahun dan baru pertama kali ke Sushi Tei dengan penuh penasaran. Kalian mengecewakan saya. Datang oke sih langsung duduk, cuman kayak cepat2 gak niat jelasin padahal lagi gak ada WL. Gak dikasih menu cetak padahal meja belakang dan sebelah kiri ada!? yg ini masih oke. Operate menunya kan ribet ya, temen saya lupa apa yang mau dipesan, jadi masih pencet lagi sebelum pesan, lah gak tahan banget malah ngobrol!? Saran saya kalian bisa tanya menunya mau seperti apa, atau suggest your best menu. Namanya ada yg mirip2 tapi harganya bisa berkali lipat ya, cuman ya sabar dan tetep layani dengan personal touch donggg, sepertinya untuk hospitality ini wajar. Kami pesan sushi 3, senilai 30an, 50an, dan 120an before tax, 2 ocha dingin, tanuki, dan mayo. Terus saya kasih tau teman saya ulang tahun HARI INI. Minimal pas ngasih sushi bilang HBD atau apa gitu, jangan ini birthday treatnya, meski still appreciate for the candle. Next, bisa2nya orderan belum lengkap tiba2 lewat bilang lengkap. Kemudian our 120k sushi ditaro di meja sebelah, orangnya udah pada ngobrol dan kebingungan (sushinya diam lama di meja orang!) dan kami harus tegur dulu, orang meja sebelah harus panggil2 terus dulu, dan kami yg jadi sadar duluan!? baru dikasih ke kami. You guys could learn from your competitor yang 350m aja langsung bye. Ada waiter 2 kali lewat, menawari seluruh meja sekitar kami: mau dessert setelah makan? Padahal makanannya masih banyak, meja kami enggak, sopankah begitu? Saya mau pesen sushi lagi jadi gak mood. Ngabisin yg di meja jg eneg. Terus kami minum ocha, nengok2 susah banget nyari waiter. Saya cuman refill 1 kali, tumpah dikit, dan ketika sushi setengah habis hingga menyisakan 1, gak ada waiter juga. Ya dalam hal ini mungkin inisiatif saya call kurang. Saat akan bayar, sudah tekan call, waiter tidak kunjung datang sehingga perlu melakukan pengulangan. Oke deh you guys popular dan lumayan ramai. Tetapi hari ini gak seramai itu sampai WL kok, kursi masih ada kosong2 juga. Entah saya sensi atau kalian disrespect kami. but I think you guys have to train you worker better, jangan beda2in gila? Minimal orang ulang tahun apalagi di harinya ucapin kek: 'selamat ulang tahun ya kak' cuman 5 kata, 2 detik. Saya jadi malu. Won't come dalam waktu dekat...
