I took my family to Pantjoran PIK to have brunch at Maystar restaurant. We arrived at 10.30AM. Pantjoran PIK has good concept of Chinese heritage. You will feel that you are in China. Even though the place is not so big, but it has been arranged well. It was not difficult to find the carparks. I think it was because of we came at workday. I believe it will be much more crowded at weekend. We chose to have brunch at Maystar. The restaurant is equipped with air conditioning so it was cozy inside. The resturant has 2 floors. The second floor has more seats but we chose first floor as it was easire for my mother to walk. There were plenty of choices of Chinese food. We mostly chose dimsum as our meal. The taste is good. I like the Hakau and Shumai. We ordered hot tea for our drinks as it can be refilled. The price was reasonable. I would like to suggest that Maystar can work together with major banks in Indonesia to have discount promotion to attract more people to come. Overall nice restaurant to have meal and family time

You can take a good picture on every corner of the place and they would looked amazing! So i come visit here for only half an hour because i didn't even know it was existed and it is that great. Okay so the first thing i noticed from the place is theres a big structure that i didn't know what its called but it looked like a gate or something? Idk but it looks enormous and so cool, you could say this is my first time visiting this kinda themed building and i loved it. This looks like a small replica of a chinatown, i love every details on it from the color to the buildings they looked very unique and aesthetic, i didn't come visit for the food so i can't say much about food here but there are a few restaurants here and theres also a souvenir shop too! Its great for family gathering or hangout with friends, even though its a bit crowded when i visit because of valentine day but maybe it wont be as crowded on any other day. I could say definitely worth a visit!

First of all it's so confusing writing about this area, because I found out another same "place" and name to be reviewed. Then . . . What is it in a name? For me, having lived in Jakarta for > half century Pantjoran is always identical with the Chinatown, located in West Jakarta. I was used to and grew up visiting this one. However, around the year '20 together with the growth of the New PIK, a modern, latest and beautiful residential area in North Jakarta, they also built another Pantjoran. Inside this one there's also a very beautiful but always closed (?) buddhist temple dedicated to Goddes of Mercy (Kuan Yin) and numerous delicious food stalls, restaurants and shops. The work is still in progress for the front parking space is no more since early '24. Hopefully will keep on doing better until the area is 100% ready in operation for public.

So many food kiosk at Pantjoran PIK. I ate Bakmi Ajong, Samchan Satay 🐷, Bugeoppang, Roti Srikaya and of course Kopi Es Tak Kie. The ambient is great during day and night. There's live music performance. It's more crowded at night. I came here on Saturday from day till night. If you want go there by public transportation, you can take KRL to Jakarta Kota and get off at Jakarta Kota station. And then you can take Transjakarta bus from Jakarta Kota shelter. You can take bus number 1A to Pantai Indah Kapuk and get of at Food Street shelter. And from Food Street shelter you can walk 5 minutes to Pantjoran PIk. And nearest Pantjoran PIK, there is Pantai Pasir Putih PIK. You can go there by walk 10 minutes or you can take bus Transjakarta again from Food Street and get of at Pantai Maju shelter.

Going here during chinese year holiday so it was very crowded. Fortunately the queue was not so long that we could enter after waiting approx 10 minutes. The well known tenants were enough so that we didn't have to spend a lot of time researching. Surprised enough by Tak Kie which sold its coffee milk signature. For moslems, I recommend you to bring your own praying kit since there were not enough praying kits in the prayer room. Moreover, since the prayer room was not wide enough, I recommend you to pray on time so you don't have to wait too long. Overall, the place was instagrammable, the tenants were okay, there was no fee to enter the area, and the parking lot were more than enough. The best time to visit this place is around 2 - 3 pm since it will be more crowded in the evening.

What makes this place work really well is that there's a lot of food stall options in the area. The pricing is reasonable, just slightly more expensive than the original stall but still acceptable. Please be advised that there's a lot of haram food here as it contains pork. However to be honest if you don't eat pork I can't imagine why you would go all the way here - unless you're just here to take photos of temples or gods. Those are really cool as well. If you are not from PIK and you don't have a car of your own, an easy, cheap, and recommended way to reach this place is to go using a FREE shuttle bus from Kota Tua, they will drop you off literally at the front gate. If you finished before 3 PM you can take the same bus back to Jakarta. Hooray for free transport!
