Good place to explore chinatown miniature at PIK2 and only 1 hour from downtown Jakarta at normal traffic condition. The official name of this complex is pantjoran PIK. This is a culinary complex with various delicious food and drink. This place is closed to north beach of java and may be because of that this place is hot. But no worry almost all big tenant is equipped with air condition facility. For you that have restriction to eat pork and lanyard, you must see label and make sure no pork and lanyard at the tenant that you go inside. For moslem visitor who want to pray, there is a small mosque at the corner. Please ask to the officer it exact location. Price is fair and some tenant accept non cash payment. There are a lot of iconic place to have picture inside in this complex like small bridge, big gate, pagoda, and some tenants with Chinese ornament. Car parking is wide enough but in busy time sometimes is difficult to have parking. One more information, in this place there is a special car to bring visitor sight seeing around this complex area.

So so so in love with the ambience ❤️❤️ Going there by 4pm until the sun set is really recommended. The lights are turning off so it's much prettier. Weekday is also highly recommended since it's not too crowded so you can enjoy more. So many food options but if you're moslem, should be aware of which one is halal. Because there are also many pork restaurants there. Prepare your QRIS since all the tenants should be paid by QRIS or debit card. If you want to pay by cash, you should go to the Central Cashier provided in other stand. For seating area, there are so many spots, but i guess the most recommended one is near the main stage, where you can see the dancing lights right in front of you. Also there are some spaces like pagoda with lampion ambience which is so exciting. Have fun!

::POST COVID: place is relatively crowded:: An open air outdoor "foodcourt" with chinatown theme, it's a good spot to find porks which basically can be found almost on every stalls opened here in various forms. The seating area is... concerningly not too distant with each other so it is a consideration with the current situation, personally i'm in for takeouts only... There is a chinatown themed mini market that is authentic and pretty well stocked as well. Good choices of porks and so far all of them i tried are good from the cheap to the expensive one by maystar. There is also punggol nasi lemak currently in the trend with pretty long queues at times.

What is it in a name? Today there are 2 spots in the city with the same name. I was used to and grew up visiting the old one. However, this new one, opened for public around year '20 is also not bad at all since it is designed as the hallmark of PIK, a modern, latest and beautiful residential area in North Jakarta. It has a very beautiful but always closed (?) buddhis temple dedicated to Goddes of Mercy (Kuan Yin) and numerous delicious food stalls, restaurants and shops. The work is still in progress for the front parking space is no more since early '24. Hopefully will keep on doing better until the area is 100% ready in operation for public.
