Shamrock - Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Jakarta

The Food are hit and miss, the gnocchi is okay, pizza is tasty until you get to the crust, Beef Salad is dry. Just stick to their specialty if you want a safe bet. To be fair i haven't try their alcoholic beverages, because they are mainly a bar, but i hope that their liquor are better because they make bad coffee and bad mocktail. I really do not recomended it, if you do need to, stick to "Es Kopi Susu". Place have decent atmosphere, i assume many people will like to hangout here, but a little note, the air is dusty, not smoke that one is common for a bar like this, i really mean dusty like when you clean your storage.

Last thing im gonna add, to come to a place like this we know we gonna spend money a lot. But to be charged Rp 10.000,- for a motorcycle parking? If this in mall with a dedicated parking service i ain't mad, but for a random guy who even not do anything to help you charge me that much? I won't comeback here with my car. Or even back here at all. You have your own security, please just instruct them to help us. That way i won't even mad a big tip. I bet if that parking guy see anyone came out from the mixue next door, they wont be charged an abnormal amount of tip. But they see me came out of you establishment, and charge...

I always want to visit this place and I did but unfortunately I have bad experience. The place itself is great as I imagine. I came on Sunday night, 11 May 2025 around 9pm and stay until 2am. Around 1am. My friend ordered one beer. When the beer came, a waitress, a small girl with long hair, asked me to pay. I made the payment with QRIS CIMB Niaga and it was successful. But the waitress said my payment didnt go through their account and she asked me to pay again with another method. I asked to wait for a while so the payment could be received but she gave me a sour face. My friend came and he made cash payment for the beer. I asked how about the payment I made then. Her response was rude and not helpful. With flat and annoyed face she said I just have to wait and the money will come back to my account automatically. Out of frustration, I went home immediately. The payment that I made never comeback to my account until now. I try to contact my bank, they need the receipt to check the transaction and the rude waitress didnt give me. I went here with my girlfriend for a nice night out and while the night wasn't completely ruined it was pretty bad.

First the good. The pizza and pasta we had were good, not amazing but good.

Now the bad. We ordered nachos and drinks and none of them were good. The nachos were made with a pasta sauce instead of salsa and were soggy and stale tasting.

The drinks were bitter and didn't taste right.

Now the worst part, the service. Staff had to be waved down if we could ever see one to wave down. No one checked on us to see how our meal was. When we finally ordered. (Drinks, an appetizer, and two mains) they brought them out all within a few minutes of each other rather than following the standard form of drinks and appetizer and then main course. So our small table was overwhelmed with food and we felt very rushed.

Speaking of service, we watched another patron sit down and call out/wave for service multiple times only to get frustrated and get up and leave.

Finally, on our way out the band was playing live music which is what we came for and wanted to relax and listen to. And anyone seated nearby would have been deaf within minutes with how loud they were.
