SOCIAL GARDEN IS LIKE A HOME AND ADVENTURE AT THE SAME TIME, SOMETHING EXCITING AND COMFORTING ALL AT ONCE.

Biteorbye? Bite, 100%.

Why you will love it ❤ THE FOOD. If love had a flavour, it will taste like Social Garden. Here is what I ate: -The highlight of the meal was easily the 48H Braised US Short Ribs. The beef ribs is exquisite, it is on the sweeter side however is balanced with the nasi uduk puree (yes, underneath that beef ribs is actually nasi uduk that has been pureed so you can really taste the coconut milk flavour!). It comes with Vietnamese coleslaw topped with puffed rice. You know the dish is a labour of love and the chef pours his heart out to create it. -Tasmanian Salmon Ceviche is the dish that looks super simple yet able to surprise you. The ceviche has been cured for 5 hours so all that fishy flavours? Gone. Only thing left is the smooth salmon taste with ikura on top but the crispy garlic and nuts really add that intriguing dimension. Honestly, this looks super simple but you can taste the complexity. They say you only fall in love once, Social Garden proved that is wrong because every bite feels like we fall for the flavours over and over again. -Wingko Babat Bakar is interesting! Who knew they can bring a very interesting twist to a local dish and elevate it even more. The most interesting part is this citrus taste which gives an element of surprise and refreshing taste served with vanilla ice cream. The portion is generous for 2-3 people, so get this to enjoy with your date, friends, family, friendzone, etc. -Wagyu Bibimbap Bowl is not a typical bibimbap bowl as it uses Japanese Curry and floss I believe which really makes every bite a treat, bibimbap with Social Garden’s twist. -Quattro Formaggi Pizza was enjoyable because well, cheese. Brie, mozzarella, gorgonzola and grana padano parmesan. You can never go wrong with cheese honestly. AND HONEY. -Spinach Agnolotti is a vegetarian option with great taste! Usually pasta with no meat is not the best (for us, at least), but they proved us wrong. -Mango Passion is served with ice cream and highlights the sweetness of the mango and slight (very slight!) sourness of mango. Great option for you who want something refreshing yet sweet. They experiment with drinks to find what works! Here’s our favourite: -Passion Colada! Must-order. Love the passion fruit because it sour and has a hint of sweetness, really refreshing especially since it awakens the palette after all the great food. Also a plus, the drink looks super pretty. Note though, this is on the sour side, so might not be for everyone. If you prefer sweet drinks, go for the Strawberry Fizz. -Strawberry fizz is also a popular one, it has a sweeter flavour profile so if you are not a big fan of sour drinks, definitely go for this one it has coconut, strawberry, aloevera, chia seed and basil. They really love to play around with the food and create art! -Garden specialteas, make sure you get it. It’s not just a treat for the eyes but also the taste buds. Calming and relaxing feeling served in a cup. The chef can also personalize the menu if you want a vegan or gluten-free meal. Really appreciate that they cater to various dietary restrictions. The ambience is really something. There are two areas, the inside of the mall which is more well-lit and you can get more artsy photos here due to better lighting. But I personally prefer the outdoorish - not really outdoor though/darker area. People can smoke here, but I guess the exhaust works really well you cannot smell smoke and the temperature is just right, not too cold or too warm. Perfect place to chill and relax with family, friends and that special someone during brunch, lunch or dinner. The service is great, but not really surprised on this one because, well… Ismaya always have great service and concept. Thanks Mas Ardy for the hospitality and explaining our menu!

Last night felt like a dream. It started with the excitement of getting ready for a much-awaited Saturday night date with my boyfriend. You know that feeling — picking the perfect outfit, adding a touch of makeup, and that flutter of anticipation in your stomach. The night felt promising already.

We decided to spend our evening at Social Garden, Senayan City, and it turned out to be the best decision. The moment we walked in, we were captivated by the beautiful, lush ambiance — a perfect blend of elegance and warmth. It felt like stepping into a hidden oasis right in the heart of the city.

Without wasting any time, we went straight for the Aglio Olio and the Pho — two dishes we had heard so much about. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The Aglio Olio was perfectly seasoned, with just the right kick of spice and that delightful hint of garlic. The Pho was comforting and rich, with tender meat and aromatic broth that warmed my soul.

As we savored every bite, the live music by Primaya set the perfect mood. The melodies flowed through the space, adding a magical touch to the evening. We found ourselves swaying to the music, sharing quiet laughs and meaningful glances.

In that moment, with the delicious food, the enchanting ambiance, and the music wrapping us in its spell, I found myself falling in love with my boyfriend all over again. It was one of those rare nights where everything feels right — where the world slows down, and you’re fully present with the person you love.

Big thanks to kak Adel & Kem for their hospitality adding a homey feeling to our visit.

Thank you, Social Garden, for creating such a beautiful space and unforgettable experience. We’ll definitely be back for more magical...

18 Dec 2019: Made a reservation for lunch at 12:30pm, arrived at 12:30pm and was told that we will have to vacant the table by 2:30pm, which we did. In any case, we wouldn’t plan to stay there for long. When we leave, there were still many tables are still vacant. So don’t really understand the logic on having to vacant a table at a given time. As a customer, it is not a good experience. Restaurant staff are indeed courteous and friendly, however they are not really responsive.

The table we were seated was rather cold, in which the air-condition duct was kind of blowing directly. We asked to be seated to another table and the person responded that will check with the guests relation person. But 5 mins later, another person came to ask if we are ready to order the food. Think something has gone wrong with your system on the customer relationship management Social Garden! Our request on the change of table only happened after 15mins later. The restaurant was not really that packed on today’s a lunch time.

The ambiance and food was alright. The selection of hot teas was all out of stock. Another disappointment!

Our order was these: a chicken liver parfait as an appetiser, two main courses: one beef steak, and a barramundi dish with local flavoured rice. The drinks was a strawberry freeze, a passion fruit drink, tumeric latte, and two hot coffees: americano and a mocha. They uses DJournal Coffee brand. The bill totalled to about IDR1,100,000.

Sharing some pictures of the drinks and the appetiser. Didn’t take pictures of the main courses.

Restaurant cleanliness: 7/10 Customer service: 5/10 Responsiveness: 4/10 Restaurant ambiance/music: 7/10 Quality...

If you're looking for a relaxing and casual sit-down restaurant, then this might be the right place for you. Social Garden is filled with modern interior, cozy vibe all the way. The restaurant has a mix of Western and Indonesian food. We ordered their Caesar Salad with chicken, the beer-battered fish and chips, and calamari to share. The Caesar salad was loaded with parmesan cheese! I think their plating is unique, the way they stacked up each layer of lettuce with the cut up egg pieces, chicken, and some croutons as well. We enjoyed the salad with plenty of shredded parmesan on them. The beer-bartered fish was huge! I didn't expect them to be that big. However, I think the fries proportion wasn't that much. The calamari were crispy to my liking. The servers were very friendly. Also, although the restrooms were only 2, but the staff cleans after the previous user. Overall, it was a great experience dining at Social Garden, would return someday!
