One of the best-tasted Soto Ambengan we have tasted. We come at the evening, and we see that the place is packed with people.

One thing we notice is that the portion is relatively big. I ordered the Soto Ayam Istimewa, while my wife ordered Reguler Soto Ayam. Both come with plenty of chicken. It exceeds our expectation given the relatively affordable place.

If you want to enjoy more, you can add "koya" powder into the Soto. It will elevate the dish taste, if you like koya.

Soto Ayam Ambengan Cak Jito located at Jl Pesanggrahan  ( before Mitra 10 ). Dining area is quite  spacious ,clean and neat (  no aircon and mostly outdoor + lesehan ) Parking is not too big , must park side of the road , they will be attendant assist you. Menu is only Soto Lamongan but you have some choices of topping . DISCLAIMER. This is soto AMBENGAN. So the texture was a bit thick and a bit murky. The soup was yellow and each portion contain rice, sliced chicken and glass noodle.

It's a Surabayan food (Ambengan is a street name in Surabaya and it's famous for its soto 👍)

For Soto Ambengan, Cak Jito is one of the best or even the best one you can find in Jakarta. Taste-wise and price-wise. If you like soto or light soup this place is veryyyyy recommended. 👏👏
