Cozy and bright atmosphere with modern Indonesian decor. Friendly staffs. Easy to make reservation.
All the food we ordered during the 2nd day of Ramadhan came pretty promptly and delicious. We ordered: Bubur Ketan Item - this is super recommended. Very delicious. The black glutinous rice was cooked perfectly, not too soft and not too hard with the right amount of sweetness. Served warm. Sop Iga Konro - the ribs had a lot of meat and flavorful. Nasi Karang Cumi Asin - brown/red rice served with oseng tempe and cumi. I didn’t know red rice can be cooked that well and savory too. Tumis Pakis Bawang Putih - it was good but the portion is too small. Grilled Baby Corn - recommended. Pretty big baby corn, soft but crisp. Delish. Kepiting Soka Telur Asin - 5 pcs of kepiting soka covered with salted egg sauce. Yummy but i feel the kepiting is a bit too overwhelmed by the sauce. But my daughter loves it. Ikan masak kuah santan (forgot the name) - fish fillet in coconut milk curry. Also delicious. For dessert we ordered Es Teler Terumbu which is placed in coconut shell. I was kinda disappointed with this because even though it was filled to the brim but there wasn’t much fillings.
Price is pretty standard for this kind of dishes in this type of restaurants between Rp. 25k (grilled baby corn) to Rp. 150k
Pretty fast service. Will...
Read moreWe had a lovely dining experience at Terumbu Restaurant. The food was delicious and well-prepared. We ordered Satay Ayam, Gindara Garang Asam, Cumi Kerang Dabu-Dabu, and Kangkung Seafood. Each dish was flavorful and beautifully presented.
The Satay Ayam was tender and perfectly grilled, with a rich, savory peanut sauce that complemented the meat very well. The Cumi Kerang Dabu-Dabu was fresh and zesty, with just the right amount of spice. We also enjoyed the Kangkung Seafood, which had a nice balance of crunch and seafood flavor.
However, one point for improvement is the Gindara Garang Asam. While the flavor was excellen, tangy and aromatic, the dish was served far too hot in terms of temperature, which made it difficult to enjoy immediately and slightly overshadowed the overall experience. We would recommend that the kitchen allow it to cool slightly before serving or adjust the serving temperature.
Overall, it was a very satisfying meal, and we would definitely return. With just a minor tweak on the temperature of certain dishes, it could easily be a perfect...
Read moreThis is our very first time eating at Terumbu Restaurant located at Cilandak Town Square (Citos). The taste was great and the service was also helpful. Our concern only about the delivery time of the appetizer. Other than that, everything is OK. The ambience was also great and homey.
If I can suggest, you need to hire extra people so the service can be delivered on time, and also the vegetables are very very delicious but the taste seems a bit sweet(?) I think it's better if there's an option of simple vegetable, e.g: pucuk labu tumis bawang putih (so it's light and simple)
Kudos to every staff, thank you for your service and the...
