Tomaple Gourmet Potato Donuts - Radio Dalam — Restaurant in Jakarta

The donuts are surprisingly very good & so fluffy. However, I am VERY disappointed with my walk-in store experience. I went there last Thursday around 10am. When I came, surprisingly there's only 3/4 flavor options (they're supposed to have over a dozen options based from their ig). I noticed right away that they're preparing a massive orders. I asked one of the staff if they have any ready stock out of their display. The staff said no because all the ready stocks are already "booked" for the pre-orders. I asked again how long should I wait for new donuts and then she said "around 1 hour", while suddenly she took the REMAINING ready stock and left me with 1 donut option 🤨.

I then told her that who got the time to wait an hour for donuts and why should they open a store for walk-in customers when they DONT HAVE any donuts to be sold. She then blatantly said to me "That's why we turned off the Gofood/Grab food apps" 🤯🤯. Do I even looked like a gofood driver to this staff?!! I almost walked away because of how mad & disappointed I was at that moment. But knowing how far I had to drive there, I decided to just purchase that last ready stock donut. While i wait for her to pack that damn donut, she was then called by other staff. After they talked, she then offered me a few donut options for me to purchase (i presume they're some of the leftovers from the pre order boxes). I purchased them without hesitation.

I'm truly sorry for this long a*s review and the 3 stars. I really am disappointed with the experience, despite how good the donuts are. They really need a better management to prevent other customers having the same experience as me. It was 10 in the morning and this is their main shop (and perhaps their main production kitchen). I don't see how they were soo unprepared like this. They should've known better to differentiate between ready stocks for walk-in customers and for the pre-order.

My tips if you want to try their donuts: just purchase it thru e-commerce apps or booked it first thru their whatsapp perhaps. It's gonna prevent u from disappointment...

Hallooo Coffee Lovers 😁 Salah satu tempat kopi unik area Radio Dalam yaitu Lala Coffee. Lokasinya ada di Jalan Radio Dalam Raya hmmm pake gmpas aja ya gengss dan dijamin ga akan nyasar deh 😂 Kalau kita jelasin satu per satu titik lokasinya, nanti yang ada malah bikin cerpen haha . Interiornya sederhana tapi manis, nuansa putih dan pink, aduuhh berasa langsung cewe banget gitu pas masuk ke tempat ini haha 😅

Disini untuk es kopi susunya ada dua jenis, ada yang light dan ada juga yang strong. Kita pesan Es Kopi Susu Strong (22k) dan Donat Nutella (12k). Untuk rasa kopinya, ini memang strong meskipun masih sedikit terasa creamy dari susunya. Nah untuk donatnya, diatasnya itu diberi taburan gula pasir dan bubuk cinnamons. ini donatnya juga enak hmmm yummeeh 😋 Rasanya unik dan ga hanya manis dari nutella aja, tapi ada sensasi berbedanya dari si bubuk cinnamon nya itu. Kedua menu ini sangat kita rekomendasikan ya gengss 🤩

Waktu kita kesini, kita melihat baristanya itu meng-kocok si kopinya sebelum dihidangkan pada customers. Karna kita tidak suka kopinya itu di kocok, jadi sudah bilang dan diingatkan terlebih dulu pada baristanya. Informasi dari kita ga terlalu penting kali ya haha tapi buat yang ga suka kopinya di kocok seperti kita, ini menjadi sangat penting 😉

Saw this donuts euphoria at @darihalte_kehalte and caught my curiosity. It wasn't that great to me. Tomaple offers classic potato donut with premium toppings.
