A Promising Steakhouse with Room to Grow

Nestled in the heart of the city, Urban Wagyu beckons diners with promises of succulent steaks and culinary delights. However, my recent visit left much to be desired, earning this establishment a modest three-star rating.

Upon arriving at 8 PM on a Tuesday night, my party was met with disappointment as many of the menu items we had hoped to indulge in were already sold out. Even simple options like strawberry ice cream for dessert were conspicuously absent from the offerings. This lack of availability dampened our dining experience and left us yearning for more options to tantalize our taste buds.

Furthermore, flagging down a waiter or waitress proved to be a challenge, as service seemed to be in short supply during our visit. This made placing our orders and addressing any concerns a bit of a struggle, detracting from the overall dining experience.

While the star of the show, the steak, lived up to its reputation with tender, flavorful cuts, we couldn't help but notice a misstep with the side of baby carrots. Unfortunately, they lacked the freshness we had hoped for, leaving us slightly disappointed.

Despite these shortcomings, Urban Wagyu shows promise and potential. With a few adjustments and a renewed focus on customer satisfaction, this steakhouse has the opportunity to elevate its dining experience to new heights. Here's hoping that future visits will see improvements and a return to the excellence that this establishment...

Steak is tender and juicy. It is really live up to its name as an quality wagyu restaurant. Fries is also very nice and crispy, the best I had so far. The wagyu dish is not included with any sauce only grilled with salt and pepper to preserve the original flavour of it. I also order some salmon, Salmon taste, i gues it is okay, but still the wagyu beef is better. Staff is nice, friendly and ready to help you. Price is reasonable for the quality meat and cozy ambient place...

I personally recommend their Harvest Moon Salad..the salmon cubes are seasoned just right, the leaves were fresh, and you'll get quite a lot of quinoa, cranberries and some sliced roasted almonds..the sauce is also very refreshing 😍

The second dish I would recommend is their Cheese Wheel Fettucine..cooked in a lot of cheese and some fresh mushrooms..topped with some thinly sliced striploins..perfect !!
