ZENBU PIK AVENUE — Restaurant in Jakarta

Zenbu is actually one of my favorite restaurants to go to. This time, I tried to order ginger lemon honey drink to ease my menstrual cramp (tmi). I asked the staff whether the honey is mixed / separated with the drink and she said it’s separated, so I thought the drink will taste neutral, but turns out it tasted extremely sweet for me as the lemon flavor was actually made with a premix powder. 1) Personally, I feel that the staff should’ve told me about this (about they’re using premix powder) as I intrinsically asked about the sweetness level of the drink by asking about the honey. 2) I think this is sort of a false advertisement too as there’s a lemon slice on the menu picture but the real drink doesn’t have the lemon slice. You can actually choose to eat menus from 2 restaurants here, zenbu or beatrice quarters. Both of them are Japanese fusion food but Beatrice quarters menu are more westernized. The food variety are quite wide which can makes us confuse about what to order. Their best menu is zenbu mozaru which is basically a baked rice with mozarella cheese. THIS AFTERNOON, I HAD A VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. I NEED TO WAIT MY FOOD FOR ALMOST 40 MINUTES WITH A SEVERAL TIMES ASKING THE WAITERS ABOUT MY FOOD IS IT ALREADY COOKED OR WHAT AFTER 30 MINUTES WAITING BUT THEY ONLY SAID "sebentar ya kak" FOR A SEVERAL TIMES TOO THEN COME IN WITHOUT GIVEN ME ANY FEEDBACK ABOUT MY FOOD UNTIL I LOST MY APPETITE.
