Putu Made+ PIK Avenue — Restaurant in Jakarta

What an unfortunate day to experience such a bad service today. T'was my 2nd visit. Ordered pork fried rice and satay. Fried rice was good .But the satay had lots of burned parts. I wish I took a picture to show how burned it was and for them to hv the audacity to serve it. Pointed that out to a waiter with a thin mustache and a sleek hair and borrowed a kitchen scissor to cut the burned part myself. Didn't apologize. Said he'll check and said it's normal to hv burnt parts coz it's chargrilled (Like I'm an idiot who can't differentiate such thing)and that I should tell the waitress taking my order that i don't want it burnt. (???) He didn't get back to me and I saw him taking order next table. Fine. He was bz. So I asked another waitress to help me trim the burned parts. She said ok and brought it back to the kitchen. The fried rice also had a satay and also burned. I asked another waiter who was taller to help me trim the burned part and he said 'oh we'll change it'. The expected proper response given only by 1 person.Happen to have a pleasant appearance too. The manager who attended to me with an attitude saying they only hv paper scissors and afraid that it might not sharp enough to cut the meat.??? I didn't even wanna waste my time arguing with him. They sent the only waiter with the best attitude (who offered to change the satay earlier) and gave a complimentary cendol dessert and apologize for the incident. But the damage has been done. And he shouldn't be apologizing. The other waiter and the manager should. Maybe I was that demanding customer at their bz hour but I'm not letting my children eating burnt parts. And that's not how u handle a customer. Overall food taste was ok but not fantastic. Just edible. With that kinda standard and service, I wouldn't comeback nor recommend the restaurant. For your cards safety, I recommend you to not hand your card to them, but ask them to bring the promotion board to you. Bad service from the beginning to the end. Waited so long before getting seated after so many attempt of waving at the waiters and getting ignored.

Once seated wasn’t given any menu. So have to take it by ourself at the shelves as no waiter bothered to service us even after quite some time.

Was reminded that food will take 15-20 mins. But even after 30 mins still no news. Prompt the waiter for the food but the waiter didn’t get back at us. Around 40 mins we asked the waiter again for the food. Only then after waiting for another 10 mins we receive our food.

Worst part we receive cold food fresh out from the refrigerator. We ordered 3 of the same set. Which the food is mostly cold. Or some set have some warmer food and the other set just plain cold as if the food was taken from some leftover. Also receive bowl of soup which was dirty stained with some unknown white sauce (which wasn’t from any of the food we ordered).

Moreover, it was past lunch time and the waiters just being idle and acting as if they are busy. Even though the food was cold it was still acceptable. But regardless very disappointed with the service so still rating this...
