Aroma de la Mer — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

Aroma de la Mer is my favorite spot in this incredibly cozy town. The restaurant feels like home—the staff is so friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Everything is incredibly fresh—you can almost taste the sea in their fish, and the vegetables are so vibrant you can smell the earth.

Beyond the amazing food, the view is breathtaking. From up here, you can see Agung the Vulcan, which makes the experience even more special. Enjoying a meal while taking in that view feels like being in the heaven of food.

Brand new restaurant! Must try this place. The food is fantastic. Don't be fooled by the name 'aroma of the sea', my partner and I had a great meal right next to the sunset point overlooking mountains and the ocean and they had fantastic vegetarian options. We forgot to take pictures of the food because it looks so good, we just finished it. Tasted as fabulously as it was presented. Definitely recommend to anyone in Amed! (The picture is of the chicken satay ...excellent peanut sauce. We also tried the tofu vegetable croquettes and tempura as tapas, with a mushroom soup. Good fresh fruit juices and cocktails. Came for dinner and was so surprised that for such a great spot with incredible views over Jemuluk Bay, my partner and I were the only people there!

Food was tasty and quick, service was wonderful and the set up is seriously beautiful.

To get to the restaurant you have to access the stairs on the right side of the building which is a bit out of sight, but so worth the venture. Maybe it's because from the front it looks like a dive shop? But there is ample scooter parking out the front and the open air restaurant and elevation allows the breeze to keep cool.
