I walked into this place earlier today for a latte after my yoga class, but as it turned out it was just an absolute waste of time.
I walked in with a smile, greeting your stuff who btw, did not greet me back. Thought they were just busy and proceeded to the counter to order, and that wasn't even accepted with a smile. 😂
But anyhow, walked away and sat down to wait for my order. Around 12-15 minutes passed on, so I thought they must've forgotten my orders because people around me seemed to get their food/drinks already.
Went back to the counter (not marching okay, walked), with a smile on my face and I only started my sentence with a "Hi...," when the lady behind the counter took her voice up a notch and kinda shouted: "FOLLOWING THE ORDER OKAY, FOLLOWING THE ORDER."
I literally shut in and told them: "I'm just gonna leave." So I took my stuff and left without getting even the slightest smile or apology. Mind you, I was 100% willing to wait though it was gonna take like 20 mins or so. I wasn't rushing.
I was originally thinking if I weren't Asian I would've gotten a better treatment (and you know what I mean), but upon looking at the lowest reviews here, it's actually a trend. Y'all need to send your employees for some sort of hospitality training or something, i.e. not to yell at...

I ate here today and am vegan as well as allergic to eggs. I ordered the tahini and date crepe, which is listed as both gluten free and vegan on the menu. This restaurant does a very good job of labeling which of their items are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. If only they were as good as actually cooking them that way.
The crepe arrived and I took a bite and it tasted different to the same dish I had the day before and this time it also smelled like egg. I asked the woman if the crepe, listed as vegan and GF on the menu, had eggs and she replied “of course”. She ended up getting really snappy at me and told me that the GF and Ve symbols on the menu mean that there’s an option to have something gluten free or vegan, which isn’t true. One look at the menu and you’ll see what I mean (for example fruit salad is labeled as Ve GF, fruit salad with dairy yogurt is labeled Vg GF)
I came here an hour before a freedive session and ended up getting very sick and vomiting out on the water and had to come back in immediately. If you have any food allergies at all, please for your own health avoid this place or if you appreciate a restaurant run with integrity, look elsewhere. In my year in Bali, this has been my worst restaurant...
Read moreYou enter the cafe by taking off your shoes, and you would expect such a place to have clean floors and especially a clean restroom. However, the cushions and floors were full of food crumbs, stains, and dirt. Using the restroom was a complete nightmare. It was very unsettling to step on the muddy and wet floors with our bare feet and then return to our table to sit on the dirty cushions. Our second disappointment was seeing that the food served was different from what was listed on the menu. After a considerably long wait (more than half an hour), we mentioned that the French toast lacked the avocado it was supposed to have, even though there were avocados visible on the counter. It was extremely rude and mocking for the staff to not only fail to mention the missing ingredients when we ordered but also to lie to our faces. The food being mediocre might not have been a major issue, but the attitude and behavior of the staff made us...
