Warung Pantai — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

Warung - While the friendliness & atmosphere were great , cleanness is a bit to be desired, Serves were small and not so fabulous as others have made out (we are Bali visitors of 30 plus times )But Most disappointing was the cook smoking over our dinner while being cooked 🥲

Bungalows - We also stayed in their Bungalows which were nice enough, clean But just a heads up , you need to bring all toiletries including soap as none provided ( when asked informed you can buy it next door) , no beach towels either ! Caretaking family are very nice & friendly, we left a day early as we could not take the constant loud hammers of a construction site across the road or the motor bike roar all night , as rooms real close...

I ordered Tuna BBQ & Fried Rice for meals. For drinks i had arak bali, lemon tea, and ice tea. For the Tuna BBQ 45k you already got the whole set. Rice, tuna, sambal, and side dish. At first I slightly tasted something like gasoline (usually used for triggering the hibachi/charcoal for bbq).

But then after combining the fish and the sambal, you will not taste that anymore. All you can taste was sambal and fish. For the fish it was super fresh, still juicy, perfectly cooked.

Well for the fried rice is just like usual fried rice in Indonesia but cooked with vegetables.

Overall, compared to the price and its quality, it's a standard here. In the other hand, you might find another restaurant...

Their fried rice and fried noodle are better menu than grilled fish (the taste was so so, never order if you have high expectation/so starving about the taste or you will extremely upset) etc. I used to try many different things before then decided to not come back cz kinda upset me few times and also for some stuff too over price which is not worth it for the taste was not really excellent, and the capjay was nice BUT too small portion killed our interest, and to be honest it's like a soup didn't look like capjay properly. If you serve proper food with proper portion then it's fair if you have that price. Don't blame covid please, as everybody all...
