There's only one word I have in mind when thinking about Ibus Warung food - AMAZING!
I found this place searching on Google Map and reading the reviews and all the good things people say about it are absolutely true.
I visited Ibus Warung 5 times during my 3-day stay in Amed ๐ and I've even had the same dish (pepes calamari) twice during the same day - that's how insanely good it was.
Now, to be clear, I've been living in Bali for over 15 years. I love the local food and I'm super familiar with all the tastes. I usually avoid eating traditional food in restaurants as I find the dishes often being stripped off the spiciness and certain ingredients just to make them more gentle to the foreign tongue. But not in this warung ๐ Local dishes were just a perfect combo of the real taste, the size of the portion and the beautiful way they're served.
I always admire restaurants that are willing to take, often actually very easy, but extra step and effort to provide a special serving experience. In this case - the banana leaves decoration on the plate. It's simple yet so creative and totally changes the way we experience the food ๐
I could keep on going about how great this place is, but I think you just have to give it a try and see by yourself - IT'S ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
The Lemon Fish Soup, Pepes Calamari and Curry dishes are still in my dreams ๐คค
P.S There's a good Wi-Fi, clean toilet, a small car and motorbike parking and a...

Getting away from the hustle and bustle of Legian, my friend and I went to Amed for a long weekend to celebrate my birthday. We stayed at The Amed Dream Ibus Beach Hotel and were recommended this warung by one of the security staff and we are so pleased he did.
This quaint little warung next to the hotel is super clean, has breathtaking views over the ocean, a great selection of delicious, reasonably priced, local (and western) food and is hosted by really friendly Balinese owners, Ketut and Wayan.
The food, views and great company was so welcoming we ended up eating at this warung for both lunch and dinner every day and didn't even bother going anywhere else (I'm not kidding).
As an Aussie expat living in Bali for nearly 10 years, I can highly recommend Ibus Sea View Warung and cannot wait to return the next time we travel to Amed.
NOTE: This local warung has a similar name to the large hotel but it is NEXT to the hotel, not inside the hotel! Make sure you have found the right place so youโre not...
ย ย ย Read moreI honestly can't stress enough how amazing this place is! We decided to go eat here for dinner, which was a minute walk from our accommodation at Aquamarine Beach Villas.
The waiter was extremely kind and courteous during our arrival and introduced us to any specials on the menu as we were giving the menus. The service might take a while as I believe the kitchen is small and the crowds can sometimes get big, but I can tell you that it is worth every minute!
We surely had some of the best food in Bali here, even some of the 5 star villas we stayed at could not compare to it.
The waiter was very friendly and always asked if we were happy with the food and was very attentive to any of our needs. We even got a thank you from the chef as we walked out and ended up having a short chat with her.
The food presentation is beautiful and everything tasted amazing! Especially for the price, it's much lower than most places but the flavour was perfect!
Will definitely be eating her away tomorrow night to try out the rest...
