Warung Melasti — Restaurant in Kecamatan Abang

This was the best food we have eaten in all of Bali. The food was amazing and the juices were excellent. The owner speaks fantastic English and is incredibly friendly. We are so happy we decided to try this place after eating at some of the other local places which are too focussed on insta vibes than actually serving good food . An amazing view of mount Agung is right next to you on the second floor terrace, which is unique for the surrounding area. Cannot recommend this place enough, and it is now the only place we have been eating close to us. I don't usually write reviews but felt I needed to to support this awesome business. This warung was disappointing compared to the expectations set by the reviews. The service was excellent and the view of the mountain was nice. However, the food lacked flavour. Chicken Ayam soup tasted like the seasoning came from a ramen packet. The fish curry broth was very thin and the fish could have been chicken, snake, lizard???...the texture wasn't not like fish. My husband's cashew chicken was a daily special and, very expensive at 80k compared to the rest of the menu, with a sauce that tasted straight out of the kecap...

El mejor Warung de Bali! Este Warung es espectacular, la comida es impresionante, hemos venido todos los días que hemos estado en Amed para cenar (un total de 6) y hemos probado varios platos y, de verdad, TODOS están deliciosos. La cocina es casera, súper sabrosa, puedes elegir entre comida balinesa e internacional (hamburguesas, pizza, sándwiches…). Los postres también están buenísimos. Mis platos favoritos fueron el grilled fish (pescado fresquísimo con un toque buenísimo ya que lo preparan en la barbacoa), la bruscheta (un entrante que sin duda te encantará) y la sopa tradicional (soto ayam), pero todos son buenísimos. De postres: el brownie está riquísimo pero también probamos el banana Pancake y no se quedaba atrás. Por otra parte el propietario y su familia son encantadores, sonrientes y súper serviciales. El sitio es un roof top con vistas a la montaña y cristales para resguardar del aire y los mosquitos, el ambiente ideal, y el precio está genial, vamos, un acierto completo. Totalmente recomendable, le pongo 5 estrellas por que es el máximo pero es para ponerle 10 estrellas. No podéis venir a Amed y no probar este Warung.
