I visited Little Bay bakery & eatery today for lunch and dinner, and I was very impressed by the quality and variety of their food. The restaurant is located in Ubud, Bali, and serves all kinds of delicious dishes for breakfast or lunch, but they are also good enough for dinner.
The service was fantastic, the owner is lovely and a great conversationalist, and the staff are super friendly and happy. They were very attentive to our needs and made us feel welcome.
For lunch, I ordered a chicken crispy sandwich and my girlfriend ordered a vegetable ham sandwich. They were both amazing, better than Subway sandwiches and a hell of a lot fresher. The bread was baked in-house and the chicken was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The ham was perfectly smoked and tasted like bacon.
For dinner, we went back for some pastries and coffee. The chocolate croissant was buttery and scrumptious, also made by them. The espresso was sublime, one of the best Iāve had in Bali.
The portion size and the price were very reasonable, if not cheap. It was good value for money, especially considering how fresh and tasty everything was. I would say you donāt have to think twice about tipping.
The only downside could be the bikes noisily travelling past occasionally, but that didnāt bother us too much. The fact that the restaurant is so open to the street makes it more welcoming and engaging for staff to chat with customers.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for a satisfying and affordable meal in Ubud. There is food for any time of day and what we had was fantastic and so fresh. The staff have been very lovely and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxed. Itās a hidden gem that you donāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAn absolute gem in Pangabai ā 10/10! I had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant in Bali. The vibe is truly something special ā warm, calm, and beautifully designed. I had the chance to chat with the owner, and you can immediately tell how much love and soul he has poured into this place.
He designed everything himself, and the menu is a reflection of the food he genuinely loves. Everything is homemade ā even the bread for the sandwiches! You can taste the quality and passion in every bite.
The staff was incredibly welcoming and unbelievably friendly, creating an atmosphere where you instantly feel at home.
This place is more than just a restaurant ā itās a passion project brought to life, and it shows in every detail. Highly, highly...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat spot for breakfast or brunch. The coffee served is Balinese, made in a machine and with no sediment at the bottom. The menu offers a variety of options, including eggs, avocado, sandwiches, baguettes, bread, and cakes. The space is compact, located in a small lot that accommodates both the kitchen and seating for customers. The setting is open, with a wooden counter separating the kitchen from the street, providing an outdoor kitchen experience with good organization and a cozy atmosphere. The seating is arranged outside the counter, and instead of traditional tables, you enjoy your coffee sitting at the counter itself. The service is friendly, and the staff are very attentive. Highly...
