One of the best Lamian Palace I have been to.
Food wise, as Lamian Palace standard it is great. The siew may and xiao long bao is very tasty and addicting. The Pork Bun is CUTE and delish. Lamian is great as usual a little spice makes it more special and we came on the day where theres a promo of IDR 19k++ for the lamian such a great deal.
Service was top notch! Best i have experienced so far out of many restaurants. Especially Mba Saras! She needs to get a raise or promotion Or bonus. Like seriously. Very attentive and focus on customer comfort. We were on a waiting list and when its our turn, she offers us option to wait a little more for a more comfortable seating as the current available one may be a little small she said. Which is great! No promises but focus on what we want. Her recommendation is also not typical "sales" like most will say "everything is good" or "depend on your preference" but describe the food characteristic (again based on what we feel like). She also recommended to key in the lamian first while we are thinking for other dishes as currently the kitchen may have delay in lamian due to the promo. Such attention to detail, focusing on our satisfaction. Blew our mind. Great job Mba Saras and keep up the great work!

Read moreWe had lunch at this restaurant on a recent weekday break and it was a surprising nice experience. We ordered some yum-cha / dim-sum items which had 'pork' in them and to our surprise, they were quite good quality and at reasonable prices. The affordable cost was helped by daily promotion from the restaurant, which provided deeply discounted price for some items on rotation. We also ordered spicy wonton and pork belly lamian noodle with red fermented tofu sauce. They're also good, especially the lamian noodle texture, i.e. really chewy and springy.
Service from staff was good and the restaurant's ambience was also good. All in all, a very good value lunch experience - very recommended for people who want to have authentic Chinese dim-sum and noodle at...
Read moreOne of the comfort places to eat in SMS. Expect longer services when it comes to peak hours on the weekend and like most of the restaurants on the weekend, it is rather difficult to keep the taste consistenly good as there might be shortage in the men power. Intinya, you just come in the wrong time aja kalo ngerasa makanan dan servicenya kurang.
Overall soal makanan, I love their nasi goreng and apapun yang judulnya mie. When it comes to their noodle menu, they come with various style of noodles; mie besar, mie kecil, mie regular, mie potong kecil, mie potong besar, you'll know it once you get your eyes on their menu. If you're looking up for more tasty noodle menu, sila pilih yang basis supnya pedas. Pedasnya mereka masih di tahap yang wajar dan bukan pedas viral.
Sup kepitingnya mereka juga enak. Beneran sup kepiting dengan isian yang sewajarnya dan kekentalan kuah yang juga masih sewajarnya. Tapi lagi-lagi harus diingatkan, kalo weekend you might want to avoid ordering this karena isian dan kekentalan kuahnya suka terlalu sedikit dan terlalu kental. Bikin bete sih kalo begini. Haha
Dimsumnya mereka juga enak2 dan varian gorengannya ngga terlampau keras sampe2 bikin sariawan. Isiannya cenderung stabil both on weekdays and weekend. Their dimsum is their safe spot I must say. Nothing goes wrong when it comes to their dimsum.
Their dessert worth every rupiah. Personal favorite dessert di sini itu ada es campur snowynya - lupa lha namanya apa, cuma inget ada kata snow2nya. Yang jelas, any dessert that comes with "snow" is literally snow served on a plate; teksturnya beneran alus, manisnya tu lembut bukan yang kelewat manis bikin sugar rush. Masi sopan, isiannya juga banyak dan potongan2nya ga kelewat kecil. Yah, sesuai standardnya mereka lha.
Oiya, ini restonya ada babinya yaa. I once tried their pork menu but I don't think I can enjoy something that is overprice to...
