Sugoi - Gading Serpong — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

Ordered the Salmon Mentai Rice, overall it’s just so so and the salmon pieces are very limited. The Mentai sauce is a bit too creamy and the sourness is a bit over for my taste and after 3 spoonfuls it was overwhelming. The Potato Beef Mentai is similar, which is just French fries with the same Mentai sauce and beef slices.

The Tori Paitan Ramen is also so so and I wouldn’t call it Ramen because the noodle texture and style are more Bakmi noodle kind than ramen. The chicken broth is decent but the chicken chasu still has soft bones.

I did come with higher but realistic expectation with regards to taste authenticity, having read other reviews however, it is below par. The price point however is lower than average Japanese restaurant. Average price point of the dishes ordered is 40k each.

Food: 9/10 Taste was good, above of what i expected. Gyoza are average. Dry ramen very good.

Service: 8/10

Very nice service, waitress are smiling and it's fast served. I didn't put 10/10 because the food was just put at the end of the table and not served in front of the person (or ask this is for who?) Refill service was top notch.

Nothing fancy or original. Temperature good, not too cold or too hot. They have a space upstairs when bigger tables. Toilets are clean.

Prices are below what i've seen elsewhere, i was happily surprised. So overall the quality is better than expected for the price asked ! Good point.
