Tatar Sunda Legok — Restaurant in Kelapa Dua

I know this place from social media. I went there on the weekend right before lunch time started, the parking space is quite spacious. The location is easy to find. The place was nice, they have several individual huts (saung) and one big space with two storey level. Nice view to the rice paddy field. The food options is okay, i order several foods from the menu : Ikan gurame goreng sambal cobek Ikan patin bakar spesial tatar sunda Genjer masak terasi Kangkung masak polos Tahu susu Tahu bakar Nasi liwet All of the foods were good, only the gurami fish has a bit of earthy smell. Small portion of sambal. I have two concerns Their ordering system, it seems that they need to improve it, the food delivered one by one, the ice tea was delivered when we were eating after i asked them twice, i believe it should be delivered from the beginning since it is an easy item. The portion of tahu bakar vs tahu susu, with small price difference but the portion is showing small difference. Comfortable place to eat. Kids and baby friendly place to eat. The food taste is also good. I order fried chicken package include with sayur asem, and with nasi liwet. This restaurant also provide a wide range of beverage, on of its best is the coconut. Its not a coconut flavor beverage, but it is real fresh coconut that you cut the top and enjoy drink, while with a spoon you can scoop the coconut meat which make everything perfect.

We came around 18 people to eat there. The place is semi outdoor, even the climate is hot, but under the roof you can feel quite comfortable. Washing basin also provided on each corner.

The minor feedback for the restaurant is to help to always provide a soap, toilet paper/hand dryer, or maybe a washing basin. When i use the toilet, i could not find a place to wash my hands but need to find the basin which located outside the toilet.

Overall 5 stars deserved...

Went here for lunch, was not too crowded since it is quite rainy and windy day. Really love the atmosphere and the vibes since the view is like rice paddy's field and there are so many birds near our saung (see last slide). However the food was not having anything special. We ordered all grilled menu and I thought the taste was like an instant barbecue spice plus sweet soy sauce. There are not plenty of sides offered too like banana fritters or stuffed tofu, but their cireng is good and recommended. For the beverage the taste is also standard.
