Kupat Tahu Pojok Magelang is a well-known culinary spot that has long been associated with traditional Javanese flavors, and now with a newly updated place, it feels even more inviting. The freshness of the new setting adds to the comfort of dining in, making it a great spot for both locals and tourists looking to enjoy a quick and authentic meal.
The kupat tahu itself is delicious—well-balanced between the softness of the tofu and rice cake, the richness of the peanut sauce, and the freshness of the bean sprouts. The flavors are satisfying without being overwhelming, staying true to the simplicity that makes traditional Indonesian street food so beloved. The dish comes out quickly too, making it a perfect choice if you’re on a tight schedule but still want something tasty.
Service here is quite fast and efficient. The staff seems well-organized and accustomed to a steady flow of visitors. This level of speed without sacrificing quality is definitely one of the strengths of the establishment.
Overall, Kupat Tahu Pojok Magelang offers a great culinary experience for those seeking classic Javanese food in a clean, new setting. With good taste, quick service, and a fresh atmosphere, it’s a reliable spot that lives up to...
Read moreOur visit to Kupat Tahu Pojok Magelang was quite an unexpected adventure! We arrived during the national break for Eid al-Adha, hoping to try the famous Kupat Tahu that we've read about, especially since it's a favorite of former Indonesian President Pak SBY. Although there are two locations within walking distance of each other, both were closed for the holiday.
When we arrived, they informed us that they were off for the day, but kindly offered us meatballs instead. We agreed to try them, only to find out that the meatballs were actually part of a family gathering, not for sale. Despite inadvertently crashing their private event, Bu Tari, the owner, was incredibly kind and generous, allowing us to enjoy the meal for free.
Even though we didn't get to taste the legendary Kupat Tahu this time, the warm hospitality and delicious meatballs left a lasting impression. We definitely plan to visit again to try the famed Kupat Tahu. Highly recommended for its welcoming atmosphere and the promise of a...
Read more14 Juni 24/ Kupat Tahu Telur Dadar 22rb, Kupat Tahu 17rb, Es Campur 6rb, Es Dawet 6rb, Peyek 5rb (!!), kerupuk tempe 5rb (!!), kerupuk melinjo 5rb. Harganya mahal!! Tahunya nggak pahit, enak. Telur dadarnya asin, hampir keasinan tapi diimbangi kuah yang manis jadi oke. Kekiannya gurih, teksturnya lembut, menyerap kuahnya tapi nggak sampai soggy. Kupatnya standar, sekilas kayaknya dikit dibandingin isian lainnya. Es campurnya isiannya potongan roti, tape ketan, dawet, sama semacam jelly lembut gitu. Menurutku nggak terlalu enak, kurang manis, jadi agak aneh es campur tapi agak hambar. Menurut temenku pas sih manisnya. Kerupuk tempenya enak, gurih banget, kriuk kriuk dimakan. Peyeknya cukup oke, kacangnya banyak banget sampai mrotol mrotol, tapi tepungnya agak terlalu padat menurutku, jadi nggak sememuaskan peyek biasanya.
Overall kupat tahunya enak, tapi mahal. Apalagi kerupuknya. Es dawetnya worth it sih. Still, personally I don't feel like...
