Suku — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

The ambience and views are good, but the food is very average.

I had the Steak Sandwich here after reading the menu and said it comes with Scotch Fillet Steak.

Unfortunately when it came out it had only a couple of extremely thin slices of beef strips on it for the “steak” component.

While it’s inside a 5 star hotel with glowing reviews I was expecting a higher quality.

To top it off I was charged 65,000 IDR for water which quite frankly I would have appreciated being told once I asked for it.

It seems these days the big hotels are charging a premium and delivering a less than ideal product for the customer.

It was a wonderful four days of breakfast and dinner experience at Suku nestled within the Conrad Bali. Their food Choice was international spread with lots of amazing cuisine. We especially like their kids corner where the children have their own choices. Of special commendable note is the service by the staff. One of them Adib went above and beyond to ensure our family group stay together. He was also so helpful to retrieve the seashells from my kids. He was the smiling face we saw every day of our visit. Both our experience with breakfast and dinner were equally good, and they even offer fish food to the kids for feeding the cods...

Staff saved the day! Excellent service 👏 For a five star hotel, the breakfast buffet dissapointed me. They mostly cater to vegetarian food. Food options were very limited. Food was very average. Indonesian food, BLAND. How can you even mess up nasi goreng? Chicken gratin, can give you high blood pressure. All you can taste is salt! Stir fried fish was okay.
