Balique Restaurant offers an unparalleled dining experience that combines exquisite cuisine with a charming ambiance. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed into a beautifully decorated setting that perfectly complemented the island's vibe.
The menu was a delightful journey through Indonesian flavors, expertly crafted with fresh, local ingredients. Each dish was a masterpiece, bursting with unique combinations that showcased the culinary skill and creativity of the chefs. We particularly loved the Balinese rijsttafel , the steak , Betutu was amazing.
The service was impeccable; attentive yet unobtrusive, ensuring our every need was met with a smile. The staff's knowledge of the menu and their recommendations enhanced our dining experience, making it truly memorable.
Overall, Balique Restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. It's not just a meal; it's an unforgettable culinary adventure. Whether you're a local or a visitor to Bali, Balique is a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates fine dining and exceptional...
Read moreVery nice restaurant with beautiful furnishing. The food is really good and I like the restaurant but I want to give only 3 stars for three reasons: First of all the prices don't include taxes which is weird and as a tourist how are you supposed to know what the taxes are for food (gastronomy). Also I have to say eventough I had a great evening with good food, it felt really bad to pay so much money for one night. The prices are like in Europe (more or less), which means for two persons you can say it's around 400k IDR (~25€). My problem here is that the locals could never effort this and that's what made me feel bad. The last and most important point: The style of cooking is not Indonesian in my opinion. If you want to taste real Indonesia food, you go to the next best warung and order something from there (u won't pay more then 60k IDR). There you get authentic food. Once somebody knows all this and what he/she is getting into, balisque is a really nice place to have a...
Read moreWe came here on our last evening in Bali, actually few hours before our flight and it was a befitting feast.
We ordered the Rijstaffel (somewhat like an Indian thali) which had several types of curries, salads, rice, corn fritters and of course sambal. There were complimentary prawn crackers and we also ordered fresh coconut, along with a cocktail and mocktail.
The piéce de resistance was absolutely the Rijstaffel which was shared amongst three of us (we are not heavy eaters) but it’s good for two adults for sure. Highly highly recommended as a cultural and a culinary experience. The gentleman who was serving us did an amazing job of explaining each dish and its constituents.
The dessert was also local delicacies, lots of coconut, pandan and a blob of vanilla ice cream - decadence, loved it ! They have a nice gift and knick knack shop, the girls loved it.
We wished we had adventured out of the Intercon earlier and discovered this place. If you are in the area, do...
