If you want to experience an incredible fitness space that not only feels high end but looks incredible as well get yourself to Bambu Fitness Bali in Uluwatu. Not only does it look the business the classes and coaching staff were up there with the best I've experienced (and I've done a lot of CrossFit in my life). The cafe is amazing and the protein shakes were so tasty. Even have homemade Coconut water BCAA's to keep you hydrated and the gains growing mid workout! The one thing I would say is be prepared to sweat, and sweat a lot. Bali is hot and humid. Luckily they give you a towel to help. And even a refreshing one at the end of Saturday's class. Then smash a shake and some yummy healthy food after. Not just a gym to satisfy your social media feeds but a gym with real substance. Once the recovery areas are set up it will somehow be even better. Be prepared to make friends and want to stay longer than you've booked! Shout out to the English coaches Tom Bliss and Sam Craige, who know their movements and their points of performance! Keep up the amazing work Bambu. See you again soon. Tommy

BAMBU is incredible. The food is unbelievably delicious, fresh, and made with real ingredients — no seed oils, gluten-free and dairy-free options. Everything on the menu has the proteins, fats, and carbs listed, which makes it amazing for anyone who tracks their macros or just wants to eat mindfully. Since eating here regularly, I’ve actually been able to maintain my weight loss and feel great, even while traveling. It’s healthy, satisfying, and flavorful — you can tell how much care goes into each dish. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and there’s just something special about the atmosphere. I live in Bali alone, and in the few weeks since I started coming here, I’ve met the most incredible people — all just from sharing a table! Because seating is limited, they sometimes pair solo diners together, and it’s led to some amazing new friendships and work connections ♥️ BAMBU isn’t just a café — it’s a community. It’s a place to eat well, connect with people, and leave feeling happier than when you arrived. I can’t recommend it enough — it’s truly my new favorite spot in Bali

Tasty and wholesome food with very friendly and attentive staff. I’ve been coming here two years in a row and always find myself ordering the same protein shakes cause they are simply so filling and do the work they are designed for. Not pictured (regretfully) are my lunch and dinner dishes - on repeat rotation are the Asian Chicken Salad, Healthy Nasi Goreng and Beef Thai Soba Salad. CONS: as it’s directly tied to the gym next door, you typically have gym goers treat the place like their own living rooms post a sweaty workout. Shoes lying around, pet cats on the table (yes) and shockingly feet perched up on the tables. I’ve seen this multiple times. Politely mentioned this to staff but I guess they’re often way too polite and quiet to say anything to the tourists. Unless this is the vibe they want to be known for (relaxed home feel) then I would suggest putting up some signs and tighten up the rules of engagement for entering so it doesn’t feel like a zoo at times.

Bambu is a stylish café in Uluwatu, connected to a gym, modern surfer-boho vibes, clean beige tones, and a dedicated A/C area. Prices are a bit high, but the food looks wholesome and beautifully plated, with many protein options and dairy alternatives.

It gets busy and loud until late afternoon. I had a coffee, quite acidic, which isn’t unusual for Bali, but I expected more here. However, the small brownie on the side was outstanding.

Nice spot overall , would return to try the food.

What left a lasting impression on me was the outstanding way the restaurant manager handled constructive criticism. In any restaurant, there may be moments when a dish or drink doesn't meet one's personal taste or even the usual standard. That in itself is not the issue. What truly matters is how the restaurant responds to such feedback.

I had a direct conversation with the manager regarding a drink, and I must say - he was not only exceptionally polite and accommodating, but also impressively professional. He listened attentively, took my remarks seriously, and addressed the matter thoroughly.

So, if you ever encounter a problem, I strongly encourage you to communicate it early on and speak directly with the manager. Give the team a fair chance to make things right before resorting to a formal complaint, which, at that stage, often can't change your...

We ordered a Yellow Bowl and Banana Scramble Egg. At 12:30 PM, we were told they had already run out of granola – a key ingredient – and got a few extra super seeds instead. The bowl arrived after about 10 minutes, but I had to wait another 25 minutes for my dish. By the time it was served, my wife had already finished eating. So much for a shared brunch – something most couples look forward to on a Bali holiday.

While the food tasted fine and the place was busy, the experience was far from enjoyable. After paying, we ordered a banana bread to go and waited outside – standing at the roadside, about 15 meters from the entrance. Although we were clearly off the premises, the manager approached us in an unnecessarily rude manner, stating that smoking wasn’t allowed “on their property.”

When I pointed out the long wait for both the main course and now again for the banana bread, the manager chose to argue rather than show any understanding or offer an apology. Zero acknowledgment. Zero customer care.

On top of all that, the prices are steep and simply not justified for what you get – neither in terms of service nor portion size or atmosphere.

This place may look promising from the outside, but if you’re hoping for a relaxed, well-managed brunch with decent value for money – or if you’re a smoker – you might want to...

Arrived at this place and was told I had to wait 10 min to be seated. While waiting I saw an empty table which was then given to a lady who arrived after me. Great...

Finally, a waitress came up to me asking if I wanted to order something. I guess the staff doesn't really communicate to each other that there are customers waiting to be seated.

Onced seated, I immediately ordered something to drink which took a while to arrive because the waitress was more interested about chatting up people asking whether they went partying last night.

When I wanted to order something to eat the waitress told me they we're out of several breakfast options including the one I wanted the order. Something that would have been useful to mention earlier when I ordered my drinks... The waitress left to give me some time to decide on something else to eat. Time that I used to contemplate where else I would go because I had no time nor patience left to try to grab once again the attention of one of the waitresses.

Coffee was good though. So I would suggest you order a take-away coffee and then get out there as quickly...
