Rasgulai - Russian Food (Magic Lamp) — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

Very disappointing!! I came here with friends to show them some food that I grew up on and I was so embarrassed coming to this restaurant. Firstly, menu is only in Russian which is ignorant because it excludes any other tourists that want to come and try the food. Owner only wants Russians to eat at his place, which is why me and my friends who are from all over the world won’t be coming back. My friends couldn’t read anything, and the Indonesian waitresses couldn’t help either, so it was all down to me translating for a table of people. What’s also weird is that inside it has a Russian decor, but the waitresses wore traditional Indonesian clothes?

The portions- laughable. So small! And for the price it’s ridiculous! We left there hungry!

The waitresses attitude wasn’t welcoming, maybe they were only instructed to be kind to Russians which is what I noticed when some Russian couples walked in and their whole attitude changed, but the fact that I was with Germans, Australians, South Americans etc meant that we got a different treatment. Definitely need to change staff! Bali has such high standards for food and staff that this service was a joke.

Considering we were the only ones in the restaurant the food took so long to come, so we decided to pay for what came and then tell the staff we don’t want to wait for the rest. Then as we leave the food comes. It’s just not good enough!

Owner came down a few times, any decent person would maybe smile or say hi to the people who are giving him business, but nothing. Just a cold stare. Sometimes I hate the attitude of my own people and they need to re think the way they run business! There’s a reason why this restaurant has a below average rating compared to other restaurants in Bali.

Don’t bother going there because there are so many amazing options in Bali with high food standard and service, and this one is...

Got here for breakfast after reading positive reviews and was disappointed. Omlette was not tasty, felt like low quality oil and ingredients were used, extra sausage tasted like the cheapest ones. Syrniki was dry. The terrace is uncomfortable due to smell and noise from busy road in 2m, but there is small area with A/C inside. Interiour design is pretty basic. With so many places in the area with better food and atmosphere for same price I see no reason...

Заметили тогда одни плюсы:

+Безумно порадовал вкусный айран, мясо и салаты. (Просили даже айран с собой😅)

+Очень большие порции, и вежливый персонал. Пришлось попросить завернуть часть еды с собой, так как порции действительно внушаемые.

Нам повезло - застали хозяев, которые помогли с переводом и угостили фруктами в честь местной церемонии, что было очень приятно)

Но сегодня мнение оказалось противоречивым🥲. Заказали доставку еды с этого места. Сразу скажу о минусах:

Вкус айрана разочаровал с первого глотка - совершенно отличался от того, что мы попробовали в самом заведение ранее. Не хватало вкуса самого айрана, чувствовался только кефир и далеко не в свежей вариации.

В шаурме уж слишком много лаваша, начинки было значительно меньше, чем в прошлый раз. Достаточно посредственно.

Но порадовала селёдка под шубой даже в этот раз. Действительно вкусно и «по-домашнему».

Возможно вкус блюд был связан с наличием владельцев заведения в прошлый раз. Место на самом деле очень не плохое. Я надеюсь, что владельцы этого места увеличат контроль над выдачей блюд на доставку, потому что действительно...
