Bread Basket Bakery - Uluwatu Bali — Restaurant in Kuta Selatan

I made a pit stop for a quick lunch at this place on my way to Uluwatu temple. Although it looks more of a bkfst place it was perfect for my 1hr pit stop at 2pm. I had the Salmon bagle and an iced cappucino the portion is perfect for one person's filling and i love that the salmon is fresh and not frozen. The Bagel though is another level! It's so soft and tender especially from the inside more like a Brioche Bagel so good!! Instead of honey i'd recommend a small piece of dark mint chocolate with the cappuccino makes a great combo with slight sweetness😏 hygiene can be improved there were croissant crumbs inside the table, on the couch, and the floor upstairs. The bathroom soap refill had black stains on its top after various refills and no cleaning maybe. Better to buy more permanent soap refill products that can be cleansed for multiple use. I would also recommend to add a sink for handwash inside the bathroom.Having it outside also means ppl are touching the door handle after using bathroom without washing their hands to go outside which can lead to transfer of bacteria. However; other than that the place's interior design is also amazing and very original creates a nice cozy atmosphere loved it!! There are quite a number of bread and pastry selection. Place is pretty comfortable, not a big building but they have arranged it pretty good so we're pretty comfy. there are 2 story building, plenty table upstairs.

You can mix your own burger/sandwich or choose other item in the menu, but i think there are mostly vegan foods. Staff is attentive and friendly. price is not too pricey not too cheap. Perfect for snack in the morning.

After a year of frequenting the place has got worst and worst with zero housekeeping completed it’s super disgusting floors, walls, counters, tables, seats are all never cleaned as a result the last 3x we visited we have seen a infestation of cockroach 🪳. Speaking with the staff has had absolutely zero response. 2 times there where cockroach coming out from the hole of the table. And this time few cockroaches where just crawling on the bakery items behind glass.
