My husband and I stayed at your facility for 7 nights from Thursday the 18th of Jan till the 25th of Jan and we stayed in the 'Kanaka' villa.
It was a great stay, however there were some things that concerned us during our stay and would be constructive feedback for your future guests.
We had no hot water the whole time. When having a shower the hot water only stayed on for a minute then went cold. We saw the reception about this and maintenance looked at it, however water continued to be cold.
People were constantly parking in our parking spot outside our villa. We hired a car one day and we had no where to park as someone had parked in our spot. Couple days later same thing happened (please see photo attached).
More water should be provided as we can not drink the tap water. We were provided with 4 bottles of water our entire stay. We had to keep buying bottles of water. May we suggest to provide a bubbler of water to guests. The same for toilet paper. We had to keep asking for it.
On our last night, there were construction workers breaking up concrete and working at 1045pm right next to our villa, to which I approached reception straight away.
Lastly, upon checking out the hotel worker showed us mild soiling of the bed sheets. Unfortunately I unexpectedly had my women's monthly and didn't mean to soil the sheets. It was only a light stain and the stain could easily be removed and we apologised. It is a natural thing to happen for women. The hotel worker then said to us we had to pay 50,000 for this and laughed. As a woman I am disgusted and disappointed and has left a sour taste in our mouth not to mention a disappointing end to our holiday. I fear for other women who stay at your facility. When travelling we do our best to keep our rooms/villas clean and tidy, and this is the thanks we recieve from your establishment.
To end on a positive, the Khaiyyara hotel and Villas is located in a good location, close to shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and money changers and the villa and pool was very clean.
Due to this encounter we will never stay at your facility again, and we hope this does not happen to your guests in the future...

Read moreI recently stayed at Khaiyyara and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. As a start, when we arrived, we were greeted by a nice property with flowers that looked more suited for Greece than Bali. However, the friendly staff offered a welcome drink, which was a pleasant touch.
The room I was given was located next to the staff/cleaners' rooms, which made it impossible to rest during the day due to the constant noise. Adding to the disturbance, our room was the last one on the corridor, right next to an external construction site that started early in the morning, making it difficult to sleep in.
We requested a room change, but the options offered were not any better. The first alternative was a smaller room next to the lift, which would not solve the noise issue as there’s always foot traffic near the lift. The only "potential solution" was a room at the end of the corridor next to a water fountain, but this also came with additional charges and more noise.
The bathroom had a blocked drain in the shower, which created a very bad smell. It took the staff two days to address the issue, but it was only slightly improved and not fully fixed. The overall cleanliness of the room was disappointing, with smudged and dirty walls, as well as noticeable cracks.
Furthermore, the room was not well-stocked. There were no face towels provided, only two large towels. This lack of basic amenities added to the overall negative experience.
If all this won’t keep you away, then the restaurant maintenance works happening just below our room certainly will. I hope the management of Khaiyyara takes these issues seriously and makes the necessary improvements to enhance the stay for...
