I had high expectations coming to this restaurant, and they certainly did not disappoint. In fact, they far exceeded it to the point that I am bookmarking this restaurant so that I can remind myself to visit this one amazing of a restaurant for my future Bali trips.
I ordered Caesar salad and young coconut for drink. The coconut is fresh, and you can request for a cold one to feel much more of the refreshment. The Caesar salad, just wow. I have never felt so satisfied when eating salad in my whole life before. The portion is big (and very well suited to the price. Mind you, all their other foods have larger portions in general compared to other restaurants), and the taste is just right. Not too thick, but not lacking either. The best caesar salad ever. I was so satisfied with the salad that I just can't pass it up when the waiter offered me dessert when I finished my salad. I ordered vegan choco mousse, and it was also splendid.
The whole staff is very friendly, and they even played with kids that came to eat at their restaurant without compromising their service quality. In addition, they are so attentive to what I ordered. I came with a Muslim friend (with hijab, that's how they noticed), and they reconfirmed with me twice whether I ate pork or not. I think that showed how thoughtful they are. I really felt at ease when eating here.
The ambience is not too bad either. The place is semi-open-spaced, with adequate aeration and ventilation. The place is white-ish themed, making the place a bit cooler than the temperate outdoor condition. They also have garden seatings, albeit it is better for you to eat indoor if you are having dinner here (they mentioned that to me when we were about to sit at the garden seating. How mindful of them.)
I have visited Bali for holiday multiple times, and they provided the best dining experience I have ever had in Bali. Sincerest thank you to all the staffs, kudos for the amazing dining experience. I will be sure to visit again soon.
Thank you. Suksma Mawali. Terima...

Ohana continues to impress and improve in 2023!
Where some other restaurants stagnate and cut costs after a few months, Ohana clearly has a solid hands-on management with an eye for quality.
From the music selection to the menu descriptions, building and playground construction, lighting, and tableware, they have created a harmonious bond between the guests, staff, and food. Parking is easy, and the open bar and kitchen invite you in.
There are no standard dishes on the menu; rather you get the impression that each dish has been individually researched and lovingly created.
Service is truly top-notch; all I interacted with were friendly and helpful, yet not intrusive. The coffee barista knows his craft and makes the final touch to round off the sublime dining experience.
This week I dined there with friends as part of a new weekly “Bloody Monday” Steak Night. I ordered a Tomahawk.
Oh wow.
I have not eaten a better steak in Bali. The quality of the meat and its preparation, combined with the cornucopia of harmonious elements I mentioned before left me with a sense of complete satisfaction.
Room for improvement: some of the dining seats are hard and not so comfortable, and I would wish for a more varied beer selection.
Truly the best place in Uluwatu to enjoy a great meal while the little ones are well-taken care of and having fun.
Great job Ohana!...

If you're in Bali and looking for a place that serves up good vibes and generous portions, Ohana Restaurant & Bar might just be your next stop. I recently dined there and ordered the Spaghetti Bolognese, paired with a refreshing Watermelon Juice—because what's a meal in Bali without something fruity and cool?
Let's start with the food. The Spaghetti Bolognese was great—tasty, hearty, and exactly what you’d hope for when ordering this Italian classic. The portion, however, was a bit on the hefty side. Unless you're planning to fuel a marathon (or share with a friend), be prepared to leave with a full belly and maybe some leftovers. It's like they took the "go big or go home" approach, and honestly, I respect the commitment.
The restaurant itself has a laid-back and welcoming atmosphere. It's not just a place to eat but also a haven for parents with young kids. They have a playground, so while you’re tackling that mountain of spaghetti, the little ones can have their own adventure. It's a win-win for families who want a moment of peace to enjoy their meal.
Overall, Ohana nails the essentials: good food, a friendly vibe, and a kid-friendly setup that doesn't feel like an afterthought. Just maybe bring a friend to help tackle those generous portions—or don't, and embrace the challenge. After all,...
