Brunch Club Legian — Restaurant in Kuta

It's very, very rare I give 5 stars across the board to any bar, restaurant or cafe, but Brunch Club definitely deserves them.

The food was absolutely fantastic. Large portions and priced very competitively.

I arrived at 4pm, but hadn't eaten anything all day, so was unsure whether to make this a late brunch, lunch or large dinner?

I started with the pineapple & mint drink (32,000IDR). There was just enough mint to give it that extra flavour, but not too much for it to be overpowering, as mint can often be.

Next, I went for the berry and chia seed pudding. Expertly presented, this was packed with various fruits including coconut and caramelised cashew nuts. It came in a very large jar and once I had eaten this and saw what I had ordered next, I knew I'd never be able to eat it all, as the portions were very generous.

I also opted for the salad falafel. Again, beautifully presented, with a taste to match. Once I had finished the falafel and pitta bread, I was stuffed and asked for the remainder of the salad to be boxed up to be taken back to my hotel, which the waitress gladly obliged.

The service was as good as the food and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.

Quite a few people seemed to be working on their laptops in there. I'd highly recommend it for digital nomads in Bali, as the background music was another reason for me to be sure I'll be returning.

Overall, brilliant. And I will definitely go back before I move on with my travels....

Food was delicious - best breakfast I’ve had in Bali yet. I had the French toast, crispy bacon, and 2 poached eggs … quite possibly the best poached eggs I’ve ever had. I also had a to-go croissant and jam - delicious. Jam was fresh and the croissant was warm and flaky. All food came out to the table an appropriate warm temperature. I also got the watermelon juice - I’d recommend passing on that. It was fresh, just sorta frothy and not my style of “juice.” However, no complaint on product quality - just preference. Went around 11am and it was a bit warm on the lower floor but the second floor was a cool, comfortable temperature with air conditioning. Service was friendly. Our server was Mitha - she did a really great job and answered all of our questions with a smile. I was trying to choose between 2 items and asked her recommendation - very glad I listened as she was spot on! Also, there’s a security guard out front to help you cross traffic - so don’t be deterred if it’s on the opposite side of the road on the map - they’ll stop traffic for you. The ambiance and vibe inside is instagram worthy with cute signs. From what I could tell things were in clean order, all utensils/plates/cups were clean with no streaks or weird smell (from dirty water). I felt very comfortable eating here. My partner and I are on a trip to Bali, we thought to go out somewhere for brunch rather than our standard villa breakfasts. I discovered this morning The Brunch Club from Tiktok. Their food looked mouth watering! So we decided to get a Bluebird taxi over to Legian from Canggu. We were greeted immediately but was told it's a 15 minute wait to be seated and wrote down my name. We went to some nearby stores then came back after 15 minutes. It was super busy at the Cafe so we understood. We were seated and given our menus. Such a huge variety to choose from! Almost immediately a lovely server came to our table to inform us of what foods are unavailable from the menu (not many and not anything we would particularly want to order anyway) and then asked for our drink orders. I ordered the Watermelon fresh juice and my partner ordered the strawberry and banana smoothie. Both of which was so refreshing and exactly what we needed! Soon after, a server came back to order our food. I ordered the big brunch without mushrooms and Ham added on. My partner ordered the brownie souffle pancake stack, he was informed that the pancakes take about 30 minutes to make, which he was fine with. We also split a Ham and cheese Croissant. The food was so lovely, to die for!
