Kanoa Bali — Restaurant in Kuta

We visited Kanoa for a birthday dinner on our second last night in Bali, family of 4 adults, 4 children. This little gem is placed right on the beach & we arrived to the most beautiful sunset. The decor is modern & beachy but every detail is well thought out and beautiful. Kadek W. was our waiter & he went above and beyond to cater to our fussy eaters and provided such lovely service with a smile. The food - OMG!! Best (westernized) meal we had in Bali & is certainly up there in comparison with similar restaurants in the Sydney area. The pulled beef tacos were unreal, bahn mi burger was an out of this world twist on a usual suspect & the pizzas came on a beautiful base filled with flavor & beautifully presented. A moment for the CRISPY POTATOES BECAUSE OMG!!! Never eaten anything like it. Prices were extremely reasonable in my eyes $15 for a seafood pizza, $7ish dollars for a kids meal, $10 cocktails or thereabouts with enough alcohol in them to know it’s a cocktail!! We ate for roughly $230, 8 of us with drinks included which is a steal for this quality of food and service. All in all this was a great spot and will be talked about for many months. Management think they have some sort of beach club happening, daybeds with minimum spend and food that is inedible, we had the mie goreng and nasi goreng and could not eat it, the chicken sate was dry and cold and seemed like it was cooked God knows when and reheated, we felt so sorry for the poor waitress who was apologising profusely for something way out of her control, we sent the dishes back hardly touched and the waitress said manager gave a discount of $1.50 we had a good laugh at that. Maybe we just happened to be there on a bad night but you would think that if dishes were coming back untouched the manager would want to know why, we have had better tasting street food for a tenth of the price, but from the lack of response from management for any of the reviews shows they could not care less and just want your money, good luck Kanoa Bali. Kanoa Cafe is easily one of the best spots on the beach! We were thoroughly impressed with our entire experience.

First of all, the food is absolutely delicious. They offer a great and varied menu with plenty of options for food and drinks. The service was also wonderful—friendly, quick, and attentive.

A huge plus is that they have their own clean and well-maintained restroom, which is a rarity and so convenient for a beach day.

We loved that you can rent a sunbed right in front of the cafe. It's the perfect way to spend the day: relaxing on the beach and having amazing food and drinks just steps away.
