My friends and I were looking for a late-night dinner spot, and despite arriving very close to closing time, the staff at Fat Bowl couldn't have been more accommodating. They welcomed us in with a smile and seated us without any hesitation. The food was absolutely incredible. We ordered a variety of dishes, and each one was a perfect blend of flavors and textures. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was prepared with care and tasted fresh and delicious. Beyond the amazing food, the service truly stood out. Our server was attentive, friendly, and patient, never once making us feel rushed even though we were the last table in the restaurant. It's rare to find a place that maintains such high standards of both food and hospitality, especially at the end of a long day. Fat Bowl is a definite five-star experience. We left feeling full, happy, and incredibly impressed by the entire team. We can't wait to go back and try more...
Read moreThe food very disappointing and portions(for main meal) small. Drinks were warm. Live music (although a lovely singer/voice) was excessively loud I Had salt and pepper squid ( squid itself perfectly cooked but coating bland, soft and greasy. For main course green curry and again this was bland and lacking in any flavour. I requested chilli from 3 different staff members with no joy. We were a group of 9 people and it was a resounding NO return for all of us ( we had all eaten there in the past and enjoyed it but never again) The starters of crispy pork belly, teriyaki sushi and duck pancakes were the only plus hence the 2 stars. Also to make the whole experience even worse, when we asked for our bills we were told we need to pay downstairs, no problem with that, except that we then had to join a queue of customers waiting over 15 minutes to pay for dinner. An all round disaster ... Dined here...
Read moreI came here after a volcanic eruption grounded my flight. I would have rather taken my chances with flying through the ash than eating here again. After looking through the very confusing menu for a very long time (should I get the sushi, burger, bao, curry, or cheesesteak, and why are there options all on the same menu). I decided to go with the "cheesesteak" to save my stomach from what would possibly be complete distruction by some of the other options at this place. What I got would make anyone from Philly commit suicide in the first way possible. Mayo covered meat served on top of a soft piece of bread like substance, that seemed to be dressed like a hotdog. My girlfriend's food was similarly filled and covered with mayo to the point she couldn't eat it. If you value your health, dignity, or general well being, do not come here. It's...
