I went with a large group about 40, service was slow but food was good, I went back 3 days later with my wife to enjoy the MANTIS, spent just over Aus$100 and realised that I was overcharged, questioned the ‘smart’waiter and was told that’s what the price is, I spoke to the manager who said the price of the mantis fluctuates, HELLO!!! in Bali? Do you ever get a refund for prices that are higher on the menu, and the same price written in chalk on the advertising menu board! I don’t think so, Me and my 40 friends and their family and friends Won’t be eating there...

Across from the Legian Beach Hotel entrance we have walked by this place a few times as very few people ever there. We decided to try and so glad we did. Don’t be put off by the decor or street appeal or lack of people. Food was good size serve and yummy. Dessert was good. This old restaurant still looked nice. We order garlic butter fried squid, eggplant chicken and sea food stir vegetables (cap cay). Except capcay which needs a bit salt, the rest were good. We were satisfied with the foods. Even the drink was also good.
