Warung Black Pearl — Restaurant in Kuta

Very bad experiences Waiting list was not very well managed and executed. (There is no waiting list with “the list” itself) ⁠Our table was taken and given to other family 2 times! We also argue with them and argue with “the staff” can u imagine(?) please train your staff, esp the girl waitress. The girl staff always gives the table to other and new customer. We stand almost 10 minutes, but there is no staff that managed and say sorry to us, maybe because we are not chinese or bule(?) meh wkwk ⁠We waiting the food like almost 2 hours!! one drink also not coming yet until we finish eat, the staff say sorry after they closed the order?! so one of us is not drink from the beginning and cannot order other drink or anything else ⁠We cannot order or refill the rice because they already closed the order after we waiting like almost 2 hours?! 8 person but the rice is only for 4 person. They told us that the rice is run out, they already making the new one, we asked again and they told us the staff is forget to turn on the rice cooker. Too many reasons! ⁠The food itself hm. Not very fresh, the taste also not very good. I can say its overrated

Please train the staff how to be nice and give good service to customers (just give standard service if you cannot teach what is beyond service to customers) ⁠Steps of sequence of service ⁠How to handle...

Everything was fine with the restaurant, apart from the service that was non existent.

Asked to see the fish they have available. After waiting for over five minutes they finally bought me a single fish on a plate.

Ordered oysters as starters. Bought vegetables to table first. When explained that we had ordered the Oysters first smiled and continued.

Then proceeded to bring up mains. When told again that we had ordered oysters for starters the water again just smiled and continued bringing food.

5 minutes after we had started to eat the mains ( instead of letting go cold) our oysters turned up, without and apology or admittance that there had been any kind of mistake.

Another arrogant example of a restaurant getting popular and ignoring their clients.

Worst thing is that this restaurant has gained clientele because of the far superior Warung Happygen next door.

Please do yourself a favour and use the Warung Happygen next door. And if it is full don’t come here. It will ruin...

Me and my wife was so confused where we going to eat, i check google and i found this place! Wasn’t expecting much, but after the friendly staff approached us i think this place good enough! The food was fantastic, the sambal matah made with traditional way, which is they using“tandusan oil” make the sambal more tasty! And the spices is kicking, fresh and hot, the shrimp obviously cooked perfectly, the fish was good enough can expect more, the squid was okay it getting hard because we were in the beach so make the food cold faster so the squid getting hard when is cold!and the plecing kangkung need bigger portions if i could!😁 The staff were friendly, nice to talk with.
