I wouldnt want to go anywhere else for grilled seafood after my first visit. This gotta be the best place for grilled seafood in town. The taste can really compete with those jimbaran fancy seafood restaurants. But of course they dont have the romantic atmosphere, u will likely smell like smoke after a meal here. But the taste is undeniably good. Very small place, if you come in a large group, avoid lunch/dinner time since it can be really crowded. They only have like 8 tables to cater the crowd, and also still serve takeaway orders. Waiting time is still acceptable though. If you decide to come here, u need to make sure to bring your own food. They are just simply offering cooking service, on weekends, they only offer grilling service. But you can bring anything you want. If you want the freshest products, worry no more since the Kedonganan Fish market just in front of the restaurant. You can buy shrimp, prawns, lobster, squids, octopus, fish, clams, anything from the sea that day and bring them here. You can also stop by a supermarket before you came if you want to have more grilled stuffs like bell pepper, aubergine, pineapple, even brocolli or other things you want grilled. The sauce they use to marinate the seafood taste really good and i can really recommend this place to anyone. And also very good value for money. Nice owner and chef. Too bad the place is very small and not very hygienic. Would love to give additional star but did not have a very nice experience. Waited two hours just to get a seat and the chef overcooked some of the fishes. For the service of just grilling and cooking the fish bought from the fish market, the price is quite expensive. Especially when the place is just a street stall. Not a really good value for money. Would rather spend a little bit more money in a restaurant with air conditioning and nice toilet. Nothin spectacular about this place only that they do grill for all your purchase of seafood from the nearby market. Very affordable price for their services to grill your live seafood. The clam sauce could be better thou. Like the those of the BBQ sauce instead theirs are sweet sauce which is ok. Tables are limited depending on what time u arrived. We came about 12 plus noon and it’s was not busy on a Saturday. Lucky us.
